你慾海難填，又跟亞述人行淫，但仍不滿足，

你因贪色无厌，又与亚述人行淫，与他们行淫之后，仍不满意，

你尚且不满意，又与亚述人行淫，但与他们行淫之后，仍不满足；

你尚且不满意，又与亚述人行淫，但与他们行淫之后，仍不满足；

你欲海难填，又跟亚述人行淫，但仍不满足，

可是，因为你还不满足，又与亚述人行淫；你与他们行淫之后，还是不满足。

你因貪色無厭，又與亞述人行淫，與他們行淫之後，仍不滿意，

你尚且不滿意，又與亞述人行淫，但與他們行淫之後，仍不滿足；

你尚且不滿意，又與亞述人行淫，但與他們行淫之後，仍不滿足；

可是，因為你還不滿足，又與亞述人行淫；你與他們行淫之後，還是不滿足。

你因貪色無厭，又跟亞述人行淫；跟他們行淫之後，仍然貪色無厭。

爾行淫無度、與亞述人私、縱欲無厭、

爾行淫無度、故與亞述人私、大縱厥欲、靡有底止。

爾淫慾無厭、與亞述人行淫、與彼行淫之後、猶不厭足、

You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians too, because you were insatiable; and even after that, you still were not satisfied.

You also committed shameful acts with the people of Assyria. Nothing ever seemed to satisfy you. You could never get enough.

You played the whore also with the Assyrians, because you were not satisfied; yes, you played the whore with them, and still you were not satisfied.

You have prostituted yourself with the Assyrians, too. It seems you can never find enough new lovers! And after your prostitution there, you still were not satisfied.

Then you engaged in prostitution with the Assyrian men because you were not satisfied. Even though you did this with them, you were still not satisfied.

Moreover, you committed prostitution with the Assyrians because you were not satisfied; you committed prostitution with them and still were not satisfied.

You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied.

Thou hast played the harlot also with the Assyrians, because thou wast insatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet thou wast not satisfied.

Then you engaged in prostitution with the Assyrian men because you were not satisfied. Even though you did this with them, you were still not satisfied.

Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.

You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians because your sexual desires were insatiable; you prostituted yourself with them and yet you were still not satisfied.

You have played the prostitute also with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; yes, you have played the prostitute with them, and yet you weren’t satisfied.

亞哈斯差遣使者去見亞述王提革拉·毗列色，對他說：「我是你的僕人、你的兒子，現在亞蘭王和以色列王攻打我，求你從他們手中拯救我。」

它要被帶到亞述去，作為貢物獻給強大的亞述王。以法蓮因此而受人嘲笑，以色列因自己的偶像而蒙羞。

亞哈斯王在大馬士革見亞述王提革拉·毗列色的時候，看到一座壇，便派人將壇的模型和詳細的製造方法送到烏利亞祭司那裡。烏利亞祭司按照送來的模型，在亞哈斯王返回之前建造了一座壇。王從大馬士革回來，看見那座壇，就到上面獻祭。他在上面獻上燔祭、素祭和奠祭，又將平安祭祭牲的血灑在壇上。他把獻給耶和華的銅壇從耶和華的殿前搬到新壇的北邊，銅壇原來放在殿和新壇之間。他吩咐烏利亞祭司：「要在這座大壇上獻早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，國中民眾的燔祭、素祭和奠祭，燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要灑在上面，但銅壇要供我個人求問之用。」烏利亞祭司遵命而行。亞哈斯王拆掉盆座的鑲板，搬走盆，將銅海從銅牛背上搬下來，放在鋪石的地上。為了亞述王，他挪走耶和華殿裡為安息日而蓋的走廊，封閉了王從外面進耶和華殿的入口。

現在，你去埃及喝尼羅河的水有什麼用呢？你去亞述喝幼發拉底河的水有什麼用呢？

你們為什麼這樣忽東忽西地變來變去呢？你們投奔埃及必蒙羞辱，就像從前投奔亞述一樣。

竟去祭拜打敗他的大馬士革人的神明，說：「既然亞蘭王的神明幫助了亞蘭人，我要向這些神明獻祭，以便它們幫助我。」但那些神明導致了他和全體以色列人的滅亡。

後來，以色列人又做耶和華視為惡的事，祭拜巴力和亞斯她錄，又拜亞蘭、西頓、摩押、亞捫和非利士的神明。他們背棄耶和華，不再事奉祂。

亞述王提革拉·毗列色來到猶大後，不但不救他，反而壓迫他。亞哈斯從耶和華的殿裡、王宮和官員家中取財寶送給亞述王，但無濟於事。

那時，亞哈斯王派人到亞述王那裡求援。

她貪戀亞述的省長和總督，那些衣著華麗、英俊的年輕騎士。我看見她玷污了自己，與姐姐的行徑如出一轍。她還變本加厲地放蕩淫亂，看見牆上用朱砂畫著迦勒底人的像，腰間束帶，頭巾飄揚，都像是來自迦勒底的巴比倫人的將領，便戀上了他們，差遣使者到他們那裡。巴比倫人便來上她的床，放縱情慾玷污了她。之後，她便厭棄他們。她繼續公開地淫亂，在眾人面前赤身露體，我厭棄她，像厭棄她姐姐一樣。她卻更加淫亂，懷念自己年輕時在埃及為娼的日子，怎樣與那些體壯精足、如驢似馬的情人縱淫，渴望重溫早年的淫行，任埃及人摸胸弄乳。

「阿荷拉歸屬我後仍然淫亂，貪戀她的情人——亞述人。他們都是身穿紫衣的省長和總督，都是英俊的年輕騎士。她便與這些亞述的精英放縱情慾，拜他們的偶像，玷污自己。她沒有放棄在埃及的淫蕩行為，她年輕的時候就任人玩弄、發洩情慾。因此，我把她交在她所戀慕的亞述人手裡。

「瑪拿西王做的這些可憎之事，比以前住在這裡的亞摩利人更嚴重，使猶大人祭拜偶像，陷入罪中。
