You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your neighbors with large genitals, and aroused my anger with your increasing promiscuity.

You committed shameful acts with the people of Egypt. They were your neighbors who were ready to have sex with you. You offered yourself to them again and again. That made me very angry.

You also played the whore with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors, multiplying your whoring, to provoke me to anger.

Then you added lustful Egypt to your lovers, provoking my anger with your increasing promiscuity.

You engaged in promiscuous acts with Egyptian men, your well-endowed neighbors, and increased your prostitution to anger me.

You also committed prostitution with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors, and multiplied your obscene practice to provoke Me to anger.

You also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger.

Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbors, great of flesh; and hast multiplied thy whoredom, to provoke me to anger.

You engaged in promiscuous acts with Egyptian men, your well-endowed neighbors, and increased your prostitution to provoke Me to anger.

You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your sexually aroused neighbors, multiplying your promiscuity and provoking me to anger.

You have also committed sexual immorality with the Egyptians, your neighbors, great of flesh; and have multiplied your prostitution, to provoke me to anger.

Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh[ is as] the flesh of asses, and whose issue[ is like] the issue of horses.Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.

Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I[ am] the LORD your God.But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.

And he received[ them] at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These[ be] thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

( For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which[ were] among them:)

Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’S house which[ was] toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead[ their] dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD:[ do they] not[ provoke] themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

Neither left she her whoredoms[ brought] from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.

Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen[ this], O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This[ is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
