「人子啊，你要使耶路撒冷知道它那些可憎的事。

「人子啊，你要使耶路撒冷知道她的可憎行徑。

“人子啊！你要使耶路撒冷知道她那些可憎之事；

『人子啊，你要使耶路撒冷知道她那些可厭惡之事，

人子歟、當使耶路撒冷知其可惡之事、

人子、使耶路撒冷人知其所為、深可痛疾。

人子、爾使耶路撒冷知其所行可憎之事、

“ Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable practices

“ Son of man, tell the people of Jerusalem the evil things they have done. I hate those things.

“ Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations,

“ Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable sins.

“ Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable practices.

“ Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations;

“ Son of man, explain Jerusalem’s detestable practices to her.

Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

“ Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her abominable practices

“ Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations;

“ And you, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Then inform her of all her abominations.

Will you judge them, will you judge them, son of man? Make known to them the abominations of their fathers;

“ Cry loudly, do not hold back; Raise your voice like a trumpet, And declare to My people their wrongdoing, And to the house of Jacob their sins.

“ Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them a warning from Me.When I say to the wicked,‘ You wicked person, you will certainly die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked about his way, that wicked person shall die for his wrongdoing, but I will require his blood from your hand.But if you on your part warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die for his wrongdoing, but you have saved your life.

Moreover, the Lord said to me,“ Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.

Then He said to me,“ Go in and see the wicked abominations that they are committing here.”So I entered and looked, and behold, every form of crawling things and animals and detestable things, with all the idols of the house of Israel, were carved on the wall all around.And standing in front of them were seventy elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan standing among them, each man with his censer in his hand; and the fragrance of the cloud of incense was rising.Then He said to me,“ Do you see, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each man in the rooms of his carved images? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has abandoned the land.’ ”And He said to me,“ Yet you will see still greater abominations which they are committing!”Then He brought me to the entrance of the gate of the Lord’s house which was toward the north; and behold, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.And He said to me,“ Do you see this, son of man? Yet you will see still greater abominations than these!”Then He brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord’s house. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty five men with their backs to the temple of the Lord while their faces were toward the east; and they were prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.And He said to me,“ Do you see this, son of man? Is it a trivial thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they have committed here, that they have filled the land with violence and provoked Me to anger repeatedly? Yet behold, they are putting the twig to their nose!

Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the Lord, Because they have violated My covenant And rebelled against My Law.
