他們必把銀子拋在街上，視金子為污穢之物。在耶和華發烈怒的日子，金銀不能拯救他們，也不能填飽他們的肚腹，滿足他們的心，因為金銀使他們跌入罪惡中。他們以華美的飾物為驕傲，並用它製造醜惡可憎的神像，因此，我必使這一切變成他們眼中的污穢之物。

我用首飾來裝扮你，給你戴上手鐲、項鏈、

你們在高山上淫亂、獻祭，在門後供奉神像。你們背棄我，脫衣上床跟它們肆意苟合，與它們立約，迷戀它們的床，愛看它們的淫態。
