Joshua 9:6-9
They came to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal and said to him and the men of Israel,“ We have come from a distant land. Make a treaty with us.”The men of Israel said to the Hivites,“ Perhaps you live near us. So how can we make a treaty with you?”But they said to Joshua,“ We are willing to be your subjects.” So Joshua said to them,“ Who are you and where do you come from?”They told him,“ Your subjects have come from a very distant land because of the reputation of the LORD your God, for we have heard the news about all he did in Egypt

Joshua 2:9-11
She said to the men,“ I know the LORD is handing this land over to you. We are absolutely terrified of you, and all who live in the land are cringing before you.For we heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you left Egypt and how you annihilated the two Amorite kings, Sihon and Og, on the other side of the Jordan. When we heard the news we lost our courage and no one could even breathe for fear of you. For the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on earth below!

Deuteronomy 4:32-38
Indeed, ask about the distant past, starting from the day God created humankind on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether there has ever been such a great thing as this, or even a rumor of it.Have a people ever heard the voice of God speaking from the middle of fire, as you yourselves have, and lived to tell about it?Or has God ever before tried to deliver a nation from the middle of another nation, accompanied by judgments, signs, wonders, war, strength, power, and other very terrifying things like the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes? You have been taught that the LORD alone is God– there is no other besides him. From heaven he spoke to you in order to teach you, and on earth he showed you his great fire from which you also heard his words. Moreover, because he loved your ancestors, he chose their descendants who followed them and personally brought you out of Egypt with his great powerto dispossess nations greater and stronger than you and brought you here this day to give you their land as your property.

Deuteronomy 4:6-8
So be sure to do them, because this will testify of your wise understanding to the people who will learn of all these statutes and say,“ Indeed, this great nation is a very wise people.”In fact, what other great nation has a god so near to them like the LORD our God whenever we call on him?And what other great nation has statutes and ordinances as just as this whole law that I am about to share with you today?

1 Kings 10 1-1 Kings 10 13
When the queen of Sheba heard about Solomon, she came to challenge him with difficult questions. She arrived in Jerusalem with a great display of pomp, bringing with her camels carrying spices, a very large quantity of gold, and precious gems. She visited Solomon and discussed with him everything that was on her mind.Solomon answered all her questions; there was no question too complex for the king. When the queen of Sheba saw for herself Solomon’s extensive wisdom, the palace he had built, the food in his banquet hall, his servants and attendants, their robes, his cupbearers, and his burnt offerings which he presented in the LORD’s temple, she was amazed. She said to the king,“ The report I heard in my own country about your wise sayings and insight was true!I did not believe these things until I came and saw them with my own eyes. Indeed, I didn’t hear even half the story! Your wisdom and wealth surpass what was reported to me.Your attendants, who stand before you at all times and hear your wise sayings, are truly happy!May the LORD your God be praised because he favored you by placing you on the throne of Israel! Because of the LORD’s eternal love for Israel, he made you king so you could make just and right decisions.”She gave the king 120 talents of gold, a very large quantity of spices, and precious gems. The quantity of spices the queen of Sheba gave King Solomon has never been matched.( Hiram’s fleet, which carried gold from Ophir, also brought from Ophir a very large quantity of fine timber and precious gems. With the timber the king made supports for the LORD’s temple and for the royal palace and stringed instruments for the musicians. No one has seen so much of this fine timber to this very day.)King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba everything she requested, besides what he had freely offered her. Then she left and returned to her homeland with her attendants.
