耶和華使他乘駕地的高處，得吃田間的土產；又使他從磐石中咂蜜，從堅石中吸油；也吃牛的奶油，羊的奶，羊羔的脂油，巴珊所出的公綿羊和山羊，與上好的麥子，也喝葡萄汁釀的酒。

你美貌的名聲傳在列邦中，你十分美貌，是因我加在你身上的威榮。這是主耶和華說的。「只是你仗着自己的美貌，又因你的名聲就行邪淫。你縱情淫亂，使過路的任意而行。

我們聖潔華美的殿－就是我們列祖讚美你的所在被火焚燒；我們所羨慕的美地盡都荒廢。

我必使你的後裔極其繁多；國度從你而立，君王從你而出。

又將我賜給你的食物，就是我賜給你吃的細麵、油，和蜂蜜，都擺在他跟前為馨香的供物。這是主耶和華說的。

那地有小麥、大麥、葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹、橄欖樹，和蜜。

他們回答說：『我們是天地之神的僕人，重建前多年所建造的殿，就是以色列的一位大君王建造修成的。

你們見亞捫人的王拿轄來攻擊你們，就對我說：『我們定要一個王治理我們。』其實耶和華－你們的神是你們的王。

他使你境內平安，用上好的麥子使你滿足。

從前耶路撒冷也有大君王統管河西全地，人就給他們進貢，交課，納稅。

大衛作以色列眾人的王，又向眾民秉公行義。
