你美貌的名声传在列邦中，你十分美貌，是因我加在你身上的威荣。这是主耶和华说的。“只是你仗着自己的美貌，又因你的名声就行邪淫。你纵情淫乱，使过路的任意而行。

我们圣洁华美的殿，就是我们列祖赞美你的所在被火焚烧；我们所羡慕的美地尽都荒废。

我必使你的后裔极其繁多；国度从你而立，君王从你而出。

又将我赐给你的食物，就是我赐给你吃的细面、油，和蜂蜜，都摆在他跟前为馨香的供物。这是主耶和华说的。

那地有小麦、大麦、葡萄树、无花果树、石榴树、橄榄树，和蜜。

他们回答说：‘我们是天地之神的仆人，重建前多年所建造的殿，就是以色列的一位大君王建造修成的。

你们见亚扪人的王拿辖来攻击你们，就对我说：‘我们定要一个王治理我们。’其实耶和华你们的神是你们的王。

他使你境内平安，用上好的麦子使你满足。

从前耶路撒冷也有大君王统管河西全地，人就给他们进贡，交课，纳税。

大卫作以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。
