So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen.

耶和華使他乘駕地的高處，得吃田間的土產；又使他從巖石中吸蜜，從堅固的磐石中取油。也吃牛酪和羊乳，羊羔的脂肪，巴珊的公牛和公山羊，以及上好的麥子；也喝了葡萄汁釀成的酒。

神從全美的錫安，已經彰顯榮光。

王所愛的女子在宮裡，極其榮華；她的衣服全是用金線繡成的。她身穿刺繡的衣服，被引到王的面前；她後面伴隨的童女，也都被帶到你的面前。

在北面的錫安山、大君王的城，美麗高聳，是全地所喜歡的。

但我（“我”原文作“他”）必把上好的麥子給你們（“你們”原文作“他”）吃，又用磐石裡的蜂蜜使你們飽足。”

耶路撒冷啊！你要舉目觀看那些從北方來的人。從前交給你的羊群，就是你引以為榮的群羊，現今在哪裡呢？

撒母耳拿了一瓶膏油，倒在掃羅的頭上，又與他親吻，說：“耶和華不是已經膏立你作他產業的領袖嗎？

因為他們的母親賣了淫，懷他們的作了羞恥的事；因為她曾說：‘我要跟隨我那些愛人。我的餅和水，羊毛和麻布，油和我所喝的，都是他們給的。’

所有過路的人，都拍掌嘲笑你；他們嗤笑耶路撒冷的居民，並搖頭說：“被人稱為最完美，為全地所喜悅的，就是這城嗎？”

你的名聲因你的美麗傳遍列國，你全然美麗，是因為我加在你身上的榮美。這是主耶和華的宣告。“‘可是你倚仗你的美麗，又憑著你的名聲去行淫；你向每一個過路的人縱情淫亂（《馬索拉文本》在本節最後有“而那便成了屬他的”；現參照《七十士譯本》和其他古譯本的較短讀文翻譯）。

我們那聖潔和榮美的殿，就是我們的列祖讚美你的所在，被火燒了。我們所喜愛的一切，都成了廢墟。

我要使你極其昌盛，國度因你而立，君王必從你而出。

你把我賜給你的食物，就是我給你吃的細麵、油和蜂蜜，都擺在它們面前作馨香的祭物。這是主耶和華的宣告。

那地有小麥、大麥、葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹；那地有橄欖樹、油和蜜；

他們這樣答覆我們，說：‘我們是天地之神的僕人，正在重建這多年以前已經建好的殿，就是一位以色列偉大的君王所建成的。

可是，你們看到亞捫王拿轄來攻擊你們，就對我說：‘不行，我們要有一個王來統治我們。’其實，耶和華你們的神是你們的王。

他使你的邊界平靖；用上好的麥子使你飽足。

從前大能的君王統治耶路撒冷，治理河西那邊的全地，接受他們繳稅、進貢和納糧。

大衛作王統治全以色列，以公平和正義對待所有的人。
