我们那圣洁、华美的殿——我们祖先颂赞你的地方已被焚毁，我们珍爱的一切都被摧毁。

我要使你的子孙极其兴旺，许多民族和君王必从你而出。

你把我赐你吃的细面粉、油和蜂蜜作为馨香的供物奉献在他们面前。这是主耶和华说的。

那里盛产大麦、小麦、葡萄、无花果、石榴、橄榄油和蜂蜜；

“他们回答说，‘我们是天地之上帝的仆人，我们正在重建这座多年前由以色列的一位伟大君王建造的殿。

可是你们看到亚扪王拿辖来攻击你们，就对我说，‘不行，我们要有一个王来统治我们。’其实你们的上帝耶和华就是你们的王。

祂使你四境平安，饱享上好的麦子。

强大的君王曾经统管耶路撒冷和幼发拉底河西全境，并向人们征收贡物和赋税。

大卫统治全以色列，他秉公行义治理百姓。
