For anyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who separates himself from Me and sets up his idols in his heart and puts before him what causes him to stumble into iniquity, then comes to a prophet to inquire of him concerning Me, I the Lord will answer him by Myself.

因为以色列人或是在以色列定居的外族人若背弃我，在心中树立偶像，把导致犯罪的绊脚石放在自己面前，又来向先知求问我的旨意，我耶和华必亲自用惩罚回答他。

因为以色列家的人中，或是在以色列寄居的外族人中，凡与我疏远，把他们的偶像接到心里去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，却又来见先知，要为自己求问我的，我耶和华必亲自报应他；

因為以色列家的人，或在以色列中寄居的外人，凡與我隔絕，將他的假神接到心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，又就了先知來要為自己的事求問我的，我－耶和華必親自回答他。

因為以色列家的人，或在以色列中寄居的外人，凡與我隔絕，在心中設立偶像，把陷自己於罪的絆腳石放在面前，卻來到先知那裏，要為自己的事求問我的，我－耶和華必親自報應他。

因為以色列家的人中，或是在以色列寄居的外族人中，凡與我疏遠，把他們的偶像接到心裡去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的絆腳石放在自己面前，卻又來見先知，要為自己求問我的，我耶和華必親自報應他；

因為以色列家的人或是在以色列中寄居的外國僑民，凡跟我疏遠、將他的偶像接上心頭，把陷於他罪孽中的因由放在自己面前，又前來見神言人、要為自己的事向我求問的，我必親自應付他；

以色列家人、及旅以色列中之外人、凡離我而納其偶像於心、置陷罪之窒礙於前、而詣先知、諮諏於我者、我耶和華必自應之、

凡以色列族、及旅其中之異邦人、背我而奉偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、後就先知諮諏於我、我耶和華必罰之、降災於其身、絕之於民中、為人作歌譏刺、使知我乃耶和華。

凡以色列族之人、及居以色列中之他邦客旅、若離棄我、心念其偶像、以陷己於罪之物、置於目前、後又就先知、欲藉之求問我、我耶和華必親斥之、必親斥之或作豈應之乎

“‘ When any of the Israelites or any foreigner residing in Israel separate themselves from me and set up idols in their hearts and put a wicked stumbling block before their faces and then go to a prophet to inquire of me, I the Lord will answer them myself.

“‘ “Suppose any of the Israelites or any outsiders who live in Israel separate themselves from me. And they think about other gods. They fall into the evil trap of worshiping them. Then they go to a prophet to ask me for advice. If they do, I myself will tell the prophet to answer them.

For any one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, who separates himself from me, taking his idols into his heart and putting the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to a prophet to consult me through him, I the Lord will answer him myself.

I, the Lord, will answer all those, both Israelites and foreigners, who reject me and set up idols in their hearts and so fall into sin, and who then come to a prophet asking for my advice.

For when anyone from the house of Israel or from the aliens who reside in Israel separates himself from me, setting up idols in his heart and putting his sinful stumbling block in front of himself, and then comes to the prophet to inquire of me, I, the LORD, will answer him myself.

For anyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who reside in Israel, who deserts Me, sets up his idols in his heart, puts in front of his face the stumbling block of his wrongdoing, and then comes to the prophet to request something of Me for himself, I the Lord will let Myself answer him Myself.

For every one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that separateth himself from me, and taketh his idols into his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet to inquire for himself of me; I Jehovah will answer him by myself:

For when anyone from the house of Israel or from the foreigners who reside in Israel separates himself from Me, setting up idols in his heart and putting a sinful stumbling block before his face, and then comes to the prophet to inquire of Me, I, Yahweh, will answer him Myself.

For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:

For when anyone from the house of Israel, or the foreigner who lives in Israel, separates himself from me and erects his idols in his heart and sets the obstacle leading to his iniquity before his face, and then consults a prophet to seek something from me, I the LORD am determined to answer him personally.

“‘“ For everyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live in Israel, who separates himself from me, and takes his idols into his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet to inquire for himself of me; I Yahweh will answer him by myself.

And when a stranger dwells with you and wants to keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as a native of the land. For no uncircumcised person shall eat it.

but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.

“ Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

Thus says the Lord:‘ Do not deceive yourselves, saying,“ The Chaldeans will surely depart from us,” for they will not depart.For though you had defeated the whole army of the Chaldeans who fight against you, and there remained only wounded men among them, they would rise up, every man in his tent, and burn the city with fire.’”

“ Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts, and put before them that which causes them to stumble into iniquity. Should I let Myself be inquired of at all by them?“ Therefore speak to them, and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Everyone of the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart, and puts before him what causes him to stumble into iniquity, and then comes to the prophet, I the Lord will answer him who comes, according to the multitude of his idols,

then Zedekiah the king sent and took him out. The king asked him secretly in his house, and said,“ Is there any word from the Lord?” And Jeremiah said,“ There is.” Then he said,“ You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon!”

“ I found Israel Like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers As the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season. But they went to Baal Peor, And separated themselves to that shame; They became an abomination like the thing they loved.

“ As for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the houses; and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother,‘ Please come and hear what the word is that comes from the Lord.’So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them.

You shall have the same law for the stranger and for one from your own country; for I am the Lord your God.’”

And the king said to Hazael,“ Take a present in your hand, and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord by him, saying,‘ shall I recover from this disease?’”So Hazael went to meet him and took a present with him, of every good thing of Damascus, forty camel-loads; and he came and stood before him, and said,“ Your son Ben-Hadad king of Syria has sent me to you, saying,‘ shall I recover from this disease?’”And Elisha said to him,“ Go, say to him,‘ You shall certainly recover.’ However the Lord has shown me that he will really die.”Then he set his countenance in a stare until he was ashamed; and the man of God wept.And Hazael said,“ Why is my Lord weeping?” He answered,“ Because I know the evil that you will do to the children of Israel: Their strongholds you will set on fire, and their young men you will kill with the sword; and you will dash their children, and rip open their women with child.”So Hazael said,“ But what is your servant— a dog, that he should do this gross thing?” And Elisha answered,“ The Lord has shown me that you will become king over Syria.”Then he departed from Elisha, and came to his master, who said to him,“ What did Elisha say to you?” And he answered,“ He told me you would surely recover.”But it happened on the next day that he took a thick cloth and dipped it in water, and spread it over his face so that he died; and Hazael reigned in his place.

These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

One ordinance shall be for you of the assembly and for the stranger who dwells with you, an ordinance forever throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.

The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord when King Zedekiah sent to him Pashhur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, saying,“ Please inquire of the Lord for us, for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon makes war against us. Perhaps the Lord will deal with us according to all His wonderful works, that the king may go away from us.”

For anyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who separates himself from Me and sets up his idols in his heart and puts before him what causes him to stumble into iniquity, then comes to a prophet to inquire of him concerning Me, I the Lord will answer him by Myself.I will set My face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.

You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.

“ This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who dwells among you.

“ I will not punish your daughters when they commit harlotry, Nor your brides when they commit adultery; For the men themselves go apart with harlots, And offer sacrifices with a ritual harlot. Therefore people who do not understand will be trampled.

Now King Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land gave heed to the words of the Lord which He spoke by the prophet Jeremiah.And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,“ Pray now to the Lord our God for us.”

“ Again, you shall say to the children of Israel:‘ Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who gives any of his descendants to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Then Zedekiah the king sent and had Jeremiah the prophet brought to him at the third entrance of the house of the Lord. And the king said to Jeremiah,“ I will ask you something. Hide nothing from me.”Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ If I declare it to you, will you not surely put me to death? And if I give you advice, you will not listen to me.”So Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, saying,“ As the Lord lives, who made our very souls, I will not put you to death, nor will I give you into the hand of these men who seek your life.”Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ Thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel:‘ If you surely surrender to the king of Babylon’s princes, then your soul shall live; this city shall not be burned with fire, and you and your house shall live.But if you do not surrender to the king of Babylon’s princes, then this city shall be given into the hand of the Chaldeans; they shall burn it with fire, and you shall not escape from their hand.’”And Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah,“ I am afraid of the Jews who have defected to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they abuse me.”But Jeremiah said,“ They shall not deliver you. Please, obey the voice of the Lord which I speak to you. So it shall be well with you, and your soul shall live.But if you refuse to surrender, this is the word that the Lord has shown me:‘ Now behold, all the women who are left in the king of Judah’s house shall be surrendered to the king of Babylon’s princes, and those women shall say:“ Your close friends have set upon you And prevailed against you; Your feet have sunk in the mire, And they have turned away again.”‘ so they shall surrender all your wives and children to the Chaldeans. You shall not escape from their hand, but shall be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon. And you shall cause this city to be burned with fire.’”
