一月之間、我絕三牧、我心厭之、其心亦棄我、

禍哉、造孽之國、負罪之民、行惡之種、敗壞之子、違棄主、侮以色列之聖者、背主而退、

為殘害者、毀謗者、怨天主者、傲慢者、驕縱者、矜誇者、機心作惡者、違逆父母者、

體肉體、乃與天主為仇、因不服天主之法、且不能服也、

彼雖知天主、不以天主尊之、亦不謝之、乃思念虛妄、心以頑而愈昧、自稱為智、反成愚魯、以永生不可壞天主之榮、易以偶像、髣髴可壞之人、及禽獸昆蟲之形、

其心蒙昩、愚頑無知、而棄天主生命之道、

勿自欺、天主不可侮也、人所種者何、所穫者亦何、

爾曹斯代之人、當聽我言、我於以色列人、豈曾如曠野、豈曾如幽暗之地乎、我民何故言曰、我欲離約束自由、我欲離約束自由或作我欲飄流不復歸爾、處女豈忘其修飾乎、新婦豈忘其麗服乎、惟我民忘我、其日難計其日難計或作歷時已久矣、

主如是云、昔爾列祖遠離我、從虛無之神、行虛誕之事、曾見我有何不義、

耶書崙胖奔踶不馴、其身肥腯為脂所蒙、遂違棄造之之天主、救之之主彼竟藐視、奉事別神動主忿心、行可憎事或作崇拜可惡之物干主震怒、

俱懷二心、必速遭罰、主必拆其祭壇、毀其偶像、

如先知迷惑其心、任意出言、我耶和華亦聽其先知迷惑、必舉手懲之、絕之於我民以色列中、彼俱負罪、求問者與先知、罪愆相等、

列邦之神、雖非天主、豈有以此神更易彼神乎、我民竟以無益之神、更易其榮耀之主、諸天歟、當以此為奇、甚為怪異、甚為驚駭、此乃主所言、我民作惡二端、我乃活水之源、彼反棄我而自鑿井、其井滲漏、不能存水、

爾素遠離、因爾行惡、心中與之為敵、

彼既不願存天主於念、天主聽其存邪僻之心、行所不當行者、

惟彼不從、背逆頑梗、塞耳不聽、剛愎厥心、同於金剛石、不聽律法、不聽萬有之主、以其神藉古先知所諭之之言、或作剛愎其心同於金剛石不聽律法不聽萬有之主以其神藉古先知諭彼惟彼不聽其言故萬有之主震怒特甚、萬有之主曰、我呼彼、彼不聽、彼籲我、我亦不聽、我散之於列邦、若以暴風、至於素不識之地、後斯地漸就荒蕪、無人往來、彼使可悅之地、變為荒墟、

彼惡者至、藉撒但之力、行一切虛偽之大能異跡奇事、及種種惑眾之邪惡、在將沈淪者之中、蓋彼眾不悅真理、且不受之而得救、故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、

兄弟乎、爾當謹慎、恐爾中有人、懷不信之惡心、違背永生天主、
