“ Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath on it through bloodshed, killing its people and their animals,

如我降疫癘於其國、發洩我之盛忿、盡行誅殺、盡行誅殺或作使其中有殺人流血之事致人與畜絕於其中、

“ Or suppose I send a plague into that land. And I pour out my great anger on it by spilling blood. I kill its people and their animals.

Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast;

“ Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out My wrath on it with bloodshed to wipe out both man and animal from it,

Or[ if] I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:

“ Or suppose I were to send a plague into that land, and pour out my rage on it with bloodshed, killing both people and animals.

“ Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal;

I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.

Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague.”

A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.

So the Lord sent a plague on Israel from that morning until the end of the time designated, and seventy thousand of the people from Dan to Beersheba died.

I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.

Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them, but I will make you into a nation greater and stronger than they.”

The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:“ You are just in these judgments, O Holy One, you who are and who were;for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”

So I poured out my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols.

‘ If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.’

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ Take your censer and put incense in it, along with burning coals from the altar, and hurry to the assembly to make atonement for them. Wrath has come out from the Lord; the plague has started.”So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them.He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague stopped.But 14,700 people died from the plague, in addition to those who had died because of Korah.Then Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance to the tent of meeting, for the plague had stopped.

“ When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people,

nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague. But whoever goes out and surrenders to the Babylonians who are besieging you will live; they will escape with their lives.

Then the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty- five thousand in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning— there were all the dead bodies!

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

The Lord will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess.The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish.

the Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses.He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt that you dreaded, and they will cling to you.The Lord will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.
