虽有这三人在其中，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他们不能救儿子女儿，只有他们自己可以得救，那地仍然荒凉。

雖此三人在於其中、我指己生而誓、彼不得救其子女、惟救己而已、地必荒蕪、主耶和華言之矣、

雖斯三人居其中、我耶和華指己而誓、其國荒蕪之日、彼止能救一己之命、不能救其子女。

主天主曰、雖此三人在其國中、我指己永生而誓、彼不能救其子女、惟一己得救、地仍荒蕪、

as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.

And suppose these three men were in that country. Then they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved. But the land would become a dry and empty desert. And that is just as sure as I am alive,” announces the Lord and King.

当上帝毁灭平原诸城的时候，他记念亚伯拉罕；在倾覆罗得所住之城的时候，就把罗得从倾覆中带出来。

‘攻击我们的果然被剪除，剩余的都被火吞灭。’

虽有这三人在其中，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他们不能救儿子女儿，只有他们自己可以得救。

因着信，挪亚既蒙上帝指示他未见的事，动了敬畏的心，造了方舟，使他全家得救。藉此他定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那从信而来的义。

惟有犯罪的，却必死亡。儿子不担当父亲的罪孽，父亲也不担当儿子的罪孽。义人的善果要归自己，恶人的恶报也要归自己。

虽有挪亚、但以理、约伯这三人在那里，他们只能因自己的义救自己的命。这是主耶和华说的。

说：‘保罗，不要害怕，你必定站在凯撒面前；并且上帝已把安全赐给与你同船的人了。’

我又实在告诉你们，若是你们中间有两个人在地上同心合意地求什么事，我在天上的父必为他们成全。因为，哪里有两三个人奉我的名聚会，哪里就有我在他们中间。”

所以，你们要彼此认罪，互相代求，使你们得医治。义人祈祷所发的力量是大有功效的。

虽有挪亚、但以理、约伯在那里，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他们不能救儿子女儿，只能因自己的义救自己的命。

你要告诉他们，耶和华说：‘我指着我的永生起誓，我必照你们在我耳中所说的待你们。你们的尸体必倒在这旷野中。你们中间被数点，凡二十岁以上向我发怨言的，

亚伯拉罕近前来，说：“你真的要把义人和恶人一同剿灭吗？假若那城里有五十个义人，你真的还要剿灭，不因城里这五十个义人饶了那地方吗？你绝不会做这样的事，把义人与恶人一同杀了，使义人与恶人一样。你绝不会这样！审判全地的主岂不做公平的事吗？”耶和华说：“我若在所多玛城里找到五十个义人，我就为他们的缘故饶恕那整个地方。”亚伯拉罕回答说：“看哪，我虽只是尘土灰烬，还敢向主说话。假若这五十个义人少了五个，你就因为少了五个而毁灭全城吗？”他说：“我在那里若找到四十五个，就不毁灭。”亚伯拉罕又对他说：“假若在那里找到四十个呢？”他说：“为这四十个的缘故，我也不做。”亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要生气，容我说，假若在那里找到三十个呢？”他说：“我在那里若找到三十个，我也不做。”亚伯拉罕说：“看哪，我还敢向主说，假若在那里找到二十个呢？”他说：“为这二十个的缘故，我也不毁灭。”亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要生气，我再说一次，假若在那里找到十个呢？”他说：“为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭。”耶和华与亚伯拉罕说完了话就走了；亚伯拉罕也回到自己的地方去了。

你要对他们说，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我断不喜悦恶人死亡，惟喜悦恶人转离他所行的道而存活。以色列家啊，你们回转，回转离开恶道吧！何必死亡呢？
