即使有这三个人在其中，我指着我的永生起誓，他们只能救自己，连儿女也不能救，那地却仍然荒凉。这是主耶和华的宣告。

雖此三人在於其中、我指己生而誓、彼不得救其子女、惟救己而已、地必荒蕪、主耶和華言之矣、

雖斯三人居其中、我耶和華指己而誓、其國荒蕪之日、彼止能救一己之命、不能救其子女。

主天主曰、雖此三人在其國中、我指己永生而誓、彼不能救其子女、惟一己得救、地仍荒蕪、

as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.

And suppose these three men were in that country. Then they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved. But the land would become a dry and empty desert. And that is just as sure as I am alive,” announces the Lord and King.

神毁灭那平原上的众城，倾覆罗得所住过的众城的时候，神记念亚伯拉罕，把罗得从倾覆中救出来。

‘我们的对头必被剪除，他们剥下来的有火吞灭了。’

即使有这三个人在其中，主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他们只能救自己，连儿女也不能救。

因着信，挪亚在还没有看见的事上，得了神的警告，就动了敬畏的心，做了一艘方舟，使他全家得救。藉着这信心，他就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那因信而来的义。

唯独犯罪的，才会灭亡；儿子必不担当父亲的罪孽，父亲也必不担当儿子的罪孽；义人的义必归他自己，恶人的恶也必归他自己。

即使有挪亚、但以理和约伯这三个人，他们也只能因自己的义救自己的性命。这是主耶和华的宣告。

‘保罗，不要怕。你必定可以站在凯撒面前；神已经把那些和你同船的人赐给你了。’

我又告诉你们，你们当中若有两个人，在地上同心为什么事祈求，我在天上的父必为他们成全。因为无论在哪里，有两三个人奉我的名聚会，我就在他们中间。”

所以你们应当彼此认罪，互相代求，这样你们就可以痊愈。义人祈祷所发出的力量，是大有功效的。

即使当中有挪亚、但以理和约伯，我指着我的永生起誓，他们只能因自己的义救自己的性命，连儿女也不能救。这是主耶和华的宣告。”

你要对他们说：‘耶和华说，我指着我的永生起誓，我必照着你们所说给我听的，对待你们：你们的尸体必倒在这旷野；你们中间被数点过的，就是按着你们的数目，从二十岁及以上，向我发过怨言的，

亚伯拉罕上前说：“你真的要把义人和恶人一同除灭吗？假如城中有五十个义人，你还真的要除灭那地方，不为城里的五十个义人而赦免那地方吗？你绝不会作这样的事：把义人与恶人一同杀死，把义人和恶人一样看待，你绝不会这样！审判全地的主，岂可不行公义吗？”耶和华说：“我若在所多玛城中找到五十个义人，我就因他们的缘故，赦免那地方所有的人。”亚伯拉罕回答，说：“我虽然是灰尘，还大胆地对我主说话。假如这五十个义人中缺少了五个，你会因为缺少了五个就毁灭全城吗？”他说：“我若在那里找到四十五个，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕再问他说：“假如在那里找到四十个呢？”他回答：“我因这四十个的缘故，也不这样作。”亚伯拉罕说：“请我主不要动怒，容我再问：‘假如在那里找到三十个呢？’”他回答：“我若在那里找到三十个，也不这样作。”亚伯拉罕说：“我再大胆地对我主说，假如在那里找到二十个呢？”他回答：“我因这二十个的缘故，也不毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕说：“请我主不要动怒，容我问这最后的一次，假如在那里找到十个呢？”他回答：“我因这十个的缘故，也不毁灭那城。”耶和华与亚伯拉罕说完了话，就走了；亚伯拉罕也回到自己的地方去了。

你要对他们说：‘主耶和华这样宣告：我指着我的永生起誓，我绝不喜悦恶人死亡，却喜悦恶人离开他所行的，得以存活。以色列家啊，回转吧！离开你们所行的，何必死亡呢？’
