使以色列族、不復迷罔離棄我、不復以諸罪愆染污穢、使彼可為我民、而我為其天主、此乃主天主所言、○

Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will they defile themselves anymore with all their sins. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

Then the people of Israel will no longer wander away from me. And they will not make themselves‘ unclean’ anymore with their many sins. They will be my people. And I will be their God,” ’ announces the Lord and King.”

In this way, the people of Israel will learn not to stray from me, polluting themselves with sin. They will be my people, and I will be their God. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!’”

This shall be for the consecrated priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept my charge, who did not go astray when the people of Israel went astray, as the Levites did.

But the Levites who went far from me, going astray from me after their idols when Israel went astray, shall bear their punishment.

And when they come there, they will remove from it all its detestable things and all its abominations.And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

that I commanded your fathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Listen to my voice, and do all that I command you. So shall you be my people, and I will be your God,

“ But the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of my sanctuary when the people of Israel went astray from me, shall come near to me to minister to me. And they shall stand before me to offer me the fat and the blood, declares the Lord God.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

The house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from that day forward.

But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

for those who guide this people have been leading them astray, and those who are guided by them are swallowed up.

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you.

And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say,‘ They are my people’; and they will say,‘ The Lord is my God.’”

Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing,

“ My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. They have forgotten their fold.

Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my sheep at their hand and put a stop to their feeding the sheep. No longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them.“ For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out.As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. And I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the country.I will feed them with good pasture, and on the mountain heights of Israel shall be their grazing land. There they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on rich pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel.I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I myself will make them lie down, declares the Lord God.I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them in justice.“ As for you, my flock, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and male goats.Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water, that you must muddy the rest of the water with your feet?And must my sheep eat what you have trodden with your feet, and drink what you have muddied with your feet?“ Therefore, thus says the Lord God to them: Behold, I, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.Because you push with side and shoulder, and thrust at all the weak with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad,I will rescue my flock; they shall no longer be a prey. And I will judge between sheep and sheep.And I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd.And I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. I am the Lord; I have spoken.“ I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild beasts from the land, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke, and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them.They shall no more be a prey to the nations, nor shall the beasts of the land devour them. They shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.And I will provide for them renowned plantations so that they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, and no longer suffer the reproach of the nations.And they shall know that I am the Lord their God with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Lord God.And you are my sheep, human sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Lord God.”

And all Israel shall hear and fear and never again do any such wickedness as this among you.

Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.

My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:“ Behold, I will feed them with bitter food and give them poisoned water to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”

And the rest shall hear and fear, and shall never again commit any such evil among you.
