They will bear their guilt— the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him.

The prophet will be as much to blame as the one who asks him for advice. Both of them will be guilty.

And they shall bear their punishment— the punishment of the prophet and the punishment of the inquirer shall be alike—

False prophets and those who seek their guidance will all be punished for their sins.

They will bear their punishment— the punishment of the one who inquires will be the same as that of the prophet—

And they will bear the punishment for their wrongdoing; as the wrongdoing of the inquirer is, so the wrongdoing of the prophet will be,

And they shall bear their iniquity; the punishment of the prophet shall be the same as the punishment of the one who inquired,

And they shall bear their iniquity: the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of him that seeketh unto him;

蓋王子於立約之後、不以盟誓為重、而爽其約、故不能免難。主耶和華又曰、彼藐視約言、而背我命、我指己而誓、必罰其罪、罹之以網羅、陷之以坎阱、曳至巴比倫、在彼降災、以罰其罪、

醫民之傷、不過皮毛、謂有平康、平康不至。彼行可惡之事、豈有羞惡之心哉、恬不知羞、毫不懷慙、故我耶和華降災之時、必使傾圮、淪胥以亡。

我見獸及世上諸王、與其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、偽師於獸前行異跡、眩惑受獸印、拜獸像者、故偽師與獸、皆被執、生投火坑、坑有硫火、乘馬者以口吐之劍、剿其餘黨、鳥食其肉而飽焉、

我獲罪於耶和華、雖受撲責、不敢疾怨、待彼伸我之冤、導我入於光明、則彼之仁義以彰、

凡以色列族、及旅其中之異邦人、背我而奉偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、後就先知諮諏於我、我耶和華必罰之、降災於其身、絕之於民中、為人作歌譏刺、使知我乃耶和華。

如爾中有先知、有作夢者、預言異跡奇事、所言有應、即教人曰、別有上帝、宜從而事之、然此上帝爾所未識、故勿聽其言、蓋爾上帝試爾、欲知爾一心一意、愛爾上帝耶和華否。惟爾當遵從敬畏爾上帝耶和華、守其誡、聽其命、恆久事之。昔爾上帝耶和華、導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役、惟彼先知、與作夢者、欲使爾違爾上帝耶和華、離其所命之道、則必見殺、為爾中絕其惡。如爾同母之兄弟、或爾子女、或眷愛之妻、或契合之友、私誘爾曰、宜服事他上帝、然此上帝爾與爾祖所未識者、或四周遠近諸民之上帝、自地極至天涯、爾毋允從、毋聽順、毋姑縱、毋矜恤、毋藏匿、爾先擊之、後民擊之、必殺毋赦。彼欲惑爾、俾爾違逆、故當以石擊之、致之於死、蓋導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役者、爾上帝耶和華是也。

人必各任其任、

其後夫必無愆、婦必負罪。

今我頒詔、諭彼偽先知之事、彼未嘗奉我所遣、猶託我名而告民云、斯土必無鋒刃饑饉之虞、彼先知必以鋒刃饑饉殲滅之。

該隱謂耶和華曰、我罹重刑、實所不堪。

爾既行淫、崇拜偶像、必負罪遭刑、俾知我乃耶和華。

醫民之傷、不過皮毛、謂有平康、平康不至。彼行可惡之事、豈有羞惡之心哉。恬不知恥、毫不懷慙、故我耶和華降災之時、必使傾圮、淪胥以亡。

故爾當以我耶和華之命、播告斯眾、曰、以色列族之於偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、後就先知、諮諏於我、我耶和華、必視其偶像之多寡、而降以罰、

爾上帝耶和華所錫之邑中、如有男女作惡、違爾上帝耶和華之約、服事崇拜他上帝、或日月、或天象、為我所禁者。既已風聞、則必諮諏詳察、如得其情、果行此惡於以色列中、則必攜行惡之男女、至於邑門、石擊致死。當殺之人、有二三人為證、必殺毋赦、證人惟一、則不可。證人必先擊之、眾民後擊之、致之於死、如是絕惡於爾中。○
