云、此邑若鼎、我儕若肉、我當建室、而居其中、禍不及予。

居位之人、所行暴虐、以為報應之理、甚屬茫昧、

爾指以色列地常云父、食酸果、子齒覺酸、用此諺語曷故。我耶和華指己而誓、爾在以色列地勿復用此諺語。

彼違我耶和華謂我非上帝、不能使彼遭難、飲刃受飢。先知有言、災必及民、民謂其言虛誕若風、未嘗奉命於上。

當知季世、必有從欲者、戲云、造物以來、列祖云亡、萬物如故、主許復臨、則未之見、

彼曰、願以色列族之聖主、速行其旨、俾我見而知之焉、

耶和華曰、如斯民、或先知、或祭司詰爾曰、耶和華有何默示、可譬重任、爾必曰、尚有何詞、比諸重任。惟耶和華棄爾如遺。凡先知祭司庶民、以耶和華默示為重任、而譏之者、我必降災於其家。爾當問於兄弟鄰里、耶和華有何言答我。爾勿以萬有之主、永生上帝耶和華之言、戲稱重任、若是則爾所言、亦為重任。爾問先知、當問耶和華、有何默示、誠以告我。我既命爾、不可以耶和華默示為重任、知爾以此稱之、則我必遐棄爾、與我所錫爾祖及爾之邑、不復眷顧。使爾含羞抱愧、永世不息。

諺曰、女效母尤、後人必引此以指爾。
