是日也、昔有葡萄千株、值銀一千之處、將生荊棘疾藜、人執弓矢而至、因其地遍滿荊棘蒺藜也、

有獅出其叢林、殘賊列國者、已啟行出其所、將使爾地荒蕪、爾邑邱墟、無人居處、

邑門悲哀號咷、錫安女寂寞、而坐於地焉、

我必遣召北方諸族、及我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、導之以攻斯土、與其居民、暨四周諸國、我必滅之、使之令人駭異、為人嗤笑、永久荒蕪、耶和華言之矣、

地將空曠、遍處荒涼、此言耶和華已言之矣、

城中荒涼、邑門破壞、

因居民干罪、我必使斯土荒蕪、主耶和華言之矣、

我上帝歟、請聽爾僕之禱告祈求、為爾之故、以爾容光、照爾荒寂之聖所、

郇山荒蕪、狐行其上兮、○

主耶和華曰、叢林中之葡萄樹、我以之為薪、投之於火、我待耶路撒冷居民、亦若是、

我觀大地則虛曠混沌、我觀諸天則無光、觀山嶽則震動、觀岡陵則搖撼、復觀四境無人、空中飛鳥悉去、我又觀之、見沃田成為荒野、諸邑毀於耶和華烈怒之前、蓋耶和華云、全地將成荒蕪、然我不盡滅之、因是大地哀號、諸天幽暗、蓋我言之定之、不回厥志、亦不轉而置之、騎兵射者喧譁、諸邑因之而遁、入叢林、攀巖石、諸邑被棄、無一居人、

耶和華曰、我必命之復返是邑、攻而取之、焚之以火、我亦必使猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處、

至於無花果之劣而不可食者、耶和華曰、此若猶大王西底家、與其牧伯、及耶路撒冷遺民、居於斯土之眾、與旅於埃及者、我必付之於敵、播散於天下萬國、俾遭禍害、在我驅至之處、受凌辱、為話柄、被訕笑、服呪詛、亦必加以鋒刃、饑饉疫癘、迨其滅於我所錫彼、及其列祖之地、

彼諸牧者、毀我葡萄園、踐我業於足下、使我嘉業成為寂寞之野、且為荒蕪、向我悲哀、全地荒蕪、無人介意、殘賊者陟曠野之荒邱、耶和華之刃吞噬斯土、自此至彼、凡有血氣者、罔獲綏安、

告之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、我必如是毀斯民斯邑、若人毀陶人之器、不能復完、人必葬屍於陀斐特、致無隙地、

爾之聖邑、盡成荒野、錫安荒蕪、耶路撒冷邱墟、我儕聖而且美之室、我祖頌爾之處、經火焚燬、我之樂土、悉變荒蕪、

蓋萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、爾在世之日、我必使歡愉喜樂之聲、新娶者與新婦之聲、絕於斯土、爾目睹之、
