Say to the people of the land:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says about those living in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel: They will eat their food in anxiety and drink their water in despair, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who live there.

Speak to the people of the land. Say to them,‘ Here is what the Lord and King says. He says this about those who live in Jerusalem and Israel.“ They will be worried as they eat their food. They will not have any hope as they drink their water. Their land will be stripped of everything in it because all those who live there are harming one another.

And say to the people of the land, Thus says the Lord God concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with anxiety, and drink water in dismay. In this way her land will be stripped of all it contains, on account of the violence of all those who dwell in it.

Tell the people,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says concerning those living in Israel and Jerusalem: They will eat their food with trembling and sip their water in despair, for their land will be stripped bare because of their violence.

Then say to the people of the land,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says about the residents of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water in dread, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who live there.

Then say to the people of the land,‘ This is what the Lord God says concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel:“ They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water with horror, because their land will be stripped of its fullness on account of the violence of all who live in it.

And say to the people of the land,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the land of Israel:“ They shall eat their bread with anxiety, and drink their water with dread, so that her land may be emptied of all who are in it, because of the violence of all those who dwell in it.

and say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and despoiled of all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

“你要预备锁链，因为这地方充满了血腥的罪恶，城里充斥着暴行。

听啊，有消息传来，喧嚣的敌军从北方冲来，要使犹大的城邑荒凉，沦为豺狼的巢穴。

大地和其中的万物都属于耶和华，世上的一切都是祂的。

不过，如果有人告诉你这些是献给偶像的祭物，你为了那告诉你的人和良心的缘故，就不要吃。

耶和华说：“你们说犹大的城邑和耶路撒冷的街道一片荒凉、人畜绝迹，

叫沃土变成荒凉的盐碱地，因为那里的居民邪恶。

以血腥建立锡安，以罪恶建造耶路撒冷。城里的首领为贪赃而枉法，祭司为银子而施教，先知为钱财而占卜。他们却宣称倚靠耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们当中吗？灾祸不会临到我们。”所以，因你们的缘故，锡安必像田地被耕犁，耶路撒冷必沦为废墟，圣殿山必成为荒林之冈。

耶和华说：“遍地将要荒凉，然而不会被我彻底毁灭。

看啊，我要把这城交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒和他率领的迦勒底人手中，让他们攻取这城。这是耶和华说的。

所以你要发预言，宣告主耶和华这样说，‘你们被蹂躏、掠夺，归了列国所有，成了外族人的话柄和笑谈。

我说：“主啊，这要到什么时候呢？”祂说：“直到城邑荒凉，无人居住，房屋空置，土地荒废的时候。

当时的世界在上帝眼中非常败坏，充满了暴行。上帝看见世界败坏了，因为世人行为败坏。祂对挪亚说：“世人恶贯满盈，他们的结局到了。我要把他们跟大地一起毁灭。

她的邪恶如同泉水涌流不息，暴力和毁灭层出不穷，疾病和伤痛接连不断。

因为世界和其中的万物都属于主。

又说：“人子啊，我要断绝耶路撒冷的粮源，叫他们焦虑地吃限量的饼，恐惧地喝限量的水。

我要为众山悲伤痛哭，为旷野的草原唱哀歌，因为那里一片荒凉，杳无人迹，听不见牲畜的叫声，飞鸟和走兽也逃去无踪。耶和华说：“我要使耶路撒冷沦为废墟，成为豺狼出没之地；我要使犹大的城邑荒凉，不见人烟。”

万军之耶和华说：“在这一片荒凉、人畜绝迹的地方，在它所有城邑的周围必再有供牧人放羊的草场。

因此，他们的土地必荒凉，永远遭人嗤笑，经过此地的人无不惊惧，摇头叹息。

他来到撒勒法的城门口，看见一个寡妇在捡柴，就对她说：“请给我一点水喝。”那妇人去拿水的时候，以利亚又说：“请给我拿一点饼。”她说：“我凭你的上帝——永活的耶和华起誓，我没有饼，我坛里只有一把面，瓶里只有一点油。我来捡柴就是要回去做饼，与儿子吃完后，就只能等死了。”
