所以主耶和華如此說：你們殺在城中的人就是肉，這城就是鍋；你們卻要從其中被帶出去。

所以，主耶和华说，你们在城中杀死的人就是肉，这城就是锅，但我必把你们从锅中拉出来。

因此，主耶和华这样说：你们弃置在城中的死人就是肉，这城就是锅；至于你们，却要从城中被赶出去。

所以主耶和華如此說：你們在城中殺的人是肉，這城是鍋；你們卻要從其中被帶出去。

所以，主耶和華說，你們在城中殺死的人就是肉，這城就是鍋，但我必把你們從鍋中拉出來。

因此，主耶和華這樣說：你們棄置在城中的死人就是肉，這城就是鍋；至於你們，卻要從城中被趕出去。

因此主永恆主這麼說：你們刺死的人、就是你們所放在城中的、他們乃是肉，這城呢、乃是鍋；你們呢、卻要從城中被帶出。

故主耶和華曰、爾於斯邑、所陳之尸為肉、斯邑為鼎、惟爾被攜而出焉、

故我耶告華曰、爾既殺人、其尸若肉、斯邑若鼎、惟我逐爾於外。

故主天主如是云、爾於邑中所殺者、其屍若肉、斯邑若釜、惟爾曹我必逐出其中、

“ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.

“ So the Lord and King says,‘ The bodies you have thrown there are the meat. And the city is the cooking pot. But I will drive you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: This city is an iron pot all right, but the pieces of meat are the victims of your injustice. As for you, I will soon drag you from this pot.

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will take you out of it.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they are the meat, and this city is the caldron; but I shall bring you out of the midst of it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but ye shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will remove you from it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they[ are] the flesh, and this[ city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

Therefore, this is what the sovereign LORD says:‘ The corpses you have dumped in the midst of the city are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot, but I will take you out of it.

“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the middle of it, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you will be brought out of the middle of it.

要向這悖逆之家設比喻說，主耶和華如此說：將鍋放在火上，放好了，就倒水在其中；將肉塊，就是一切肥美的肉塊、腿，和肩都聚在其中，拿美好的骨頭把鍋裝滿；取羊羣中最好的，將柴堆在鍋下，使鍋開滾，好把骨頭煮在其中。「主耶和華如此說：禍哉！這流人血的城，就是長銹的鍋。其中的銹未曾除掉，須要將肉塊從其中一一取出來，不必為它拈鬮。城中所流的血倒在淨光的磐石上，不倒在地上，用土掩蓋。這城中所流的血倒在淨光的磐石上，不得掩蓋，乃是出於我，為要發忿怒施行報應。所以主耶和華如此說：禍哉！這流人血的城，我也必大堆火柴，添上木柴，使火着旺，將肉煮爛，把湯熬濃，使骨頭烤焦；把鍋倒空坐在炭火上，使鍋燒熱，使銅燒紅，鎔化其中的污穢，除淨其上的銹。這鍋勞碌疲乏，所長的大銹仍未除掉；這銹就是用火也不能除掉。在你污穢中有淫行，我潔淨你，你卻不潔淨。你的污穢再不能潔淨，直等我向你發的忿怒止息。

你們惡善好惡，從人身上剝皮，從人骨頭上剔肉，吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打折他們的骨頭，分成塊子像要下鍋，又像釜中的肉。

護衛長拿住大祭司西萊雅、副祭司西番亞，和三個把門的，又從城中拿住一個管理兵丁的官，並在城裏所遇常見王面的五個人和檢點國民軍長的書記，以及城裏遇見的國民六十個人。護衛長尼布撒拉旦將這些人帶到在利比拉的巴比倫王那裏。巴比倫王就把他們擊殺在哈馬地的利比拉。這樣，猶大人被擄去離開本地。至於猶大國剩下的民，就是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒所剩下的，巴比倫王立了沙番的孫子、亞希甘的兒子基大利作他們的省長。

我使你的額像金鋼鑽，比火石更硬。他們雖是悖逆之家，你不要怕他們，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶。」他又對我說：「人子啊，我對你所說的一切話，要心裏領會，耳中聽聞。你往你本國被擄的子民那裏去，他們或聽，或不聽，你要對他們講說，告訴他們這是主耶和華說的。」
