Afterward the Spirit of God carried me back again to Babylonia, to the people in exile there. And so ended the vision of my visit to Jerusalem.

The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia in the vision given by the Spirit of God. Then the vision I had seen went up from me,

The same vision was repeated three times. Then the sheet was suddenly pulled up to heaven.

Beside the rivers of Babylon, we sat and wept as we thought of Jerusalem.

“ Sir,” they said,“ just say the word and fifty of our strongest men will search the wilderness for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has left him on some mountain or in some valley.”“ No,” Elisha said,“ don’t send them.”

I was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don’t know— only God knows.Yes, only God knows whether I was in my body or outside my body. But I do knowthat I was caught up to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell.

When God had finished speaking, he left Abraham.

Then I came to the colony of Judean exiles in Tel abib, beside the Kebar River. I was overwhelmed and sat among them for seven days.
