主耶和华说：“因为你们用一切可憎的偶像和恶行玷污我的圣所，我凭我的永恒起誓，我必毫不留情地铲除你们。

他们不会再因祭拜偶像、行可憎之事而玷污自己，我要从他们犯罪的地方把他们救出来，洗净他们的罪。他们要做我的子民，我要做他们的上帝。

他们以华美的饰物为骄傲，并用它制造丑恶可憎的神像，因此，我必使这一切变成他们眼中的污秽之物。

这恩典教导我们除掉不敬虔的心和世俗的私欲，在今世过自律、公义、敬畏上帝的生活，

耶和华说：“到那日，我要消灭你们的战马，毁坏你们的战车。我要摧毁你们境内的城邑，拆除你们所有的堡垒。我要除掉你们手中的巫术，使你们那里不再有占卜的。我要从你们中间除去雕刻的神像和神柱，使你们不再跪拜自己所造的。我要从你们中间铲除亚舍拉神像，毁灭你们的偶像。

至于那些心里恋慕丑恶可憎之物的人，我必按他们所行的报应他们。这是主耶和华说的。”

厢房旁边的外墙与厢房及外院平行，长二十五米。靠近外院的厢房长二十五米，靠近圣殿的厢房则长五十米。

你们必抛弃自己那些镀金包银的偶像，把它们当作污秽之物丢掉，对它们说：“去吧！”

“以法莲啊，你要远离偶像。我应允你的祷告，看顾你。我像一棵青翠的松树，你的果实都来自于我。”

首先，我要让他们因自己的罪与恶而受加倍的报应，因为他们用没有生命气息的可憎偶像玷污我的土地，使可厌之物充满我的产业。”

我必攻击你，用碱炼净你的渣滓，除尽你的杂质。我必像从前一样赐你审判官和谋士。之后，你必被称为公义之城、忠信之邑。”耶和华必因祂的公正救赎锡安，必因祂的公义拯救城中悔改的人。

所以，你们要治死身上属世的罪恶，如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪心，贪心就是拜偶像，因为上帝的烈怒必临到做这些事的悖逆之人。你们过去也和他们一样过着罪恶的生活，但现在必须杜绝这一切的恶事，如怒气、愤恨、恶毒、毁谤和污言秽语。
