故爾以西結當曰、主天主如是云、我雖逐之遠邦、散之列國、我猶在所至之列國、為其小聖所、

“ Therefore say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’

“ So tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ I sent some of my people far away among the nations. I scattered them among the countries. But for a little while I have been their temple in the countries where they have gone.” ’

Therefore say,‘ Thus says the Lord God: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a while in the countries where they have gone.’

“ Therefore, tell the exiles,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I have scattered you in the countries of the world, I will be a sanctuary to you during your time in exile.

“ Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Though I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’

Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Though I had removed them far away among the nations, and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them for a little while in the countries where they had gone.” ’

Therefore say,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet I shall be a little sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.”’

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they are come.

“ Therefore say: This is what the Lord God says: Though I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

“ Therefore say:‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: Although I have removed them far away among the nations and have dispersed them among the countries, I have been a little sanctuary for them among the lands where they have gone.’

“ Therefore say,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet I will be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they have come.”’

他對以色列兩家必做碰腳的石頭，跌人的碞石，對耶路撒冷的居民必做為機檻和網羅。

主啊，你乃是我們的居所，一代又一代。

你把他們藏於你面前的隱密處，免受人的暗算；你珍藏他們於棚幕中，免遭口舌的爭鬧。

雖然如此，當他們在仇敵之地的時候、我還是不棄絕他們；我不厭棄他們、不將他們滅盡、以違犯我的約、我同他們立的；因為我永恆主是他們的上帝，

住在至高者的隱密處的、就是居於全能者的蔭庇下。

『永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：猶大流亡的人、我所打發離開這地方到迦勒底人之地去的、我必看他們好，如同這些好的無花果。我必注目好待他們，領他們返回這地；建立他們，必不傾覆；栽植他們，必不拔除。

『列國啊，要聽永恆主的話，要傳告在遠處的沿海地帶，說：那使以色列四散的必再招集他，看守他，像牧人看守羊羣一般，

永恆主耶和華的名是堅固的譙樓；義人奔入，便得安穩。

祭司和神言人對首領和眾民說：『這人真是該死，因為他傳神言攻擊這城，正如你們親耳聽見的。』

那時永恆主必顯現，日間藉着雲和煙，夜間藉着火燄之明亮顯現於錫安山之全地址，和他人民的會眾上，因為全「榮現」之上他本身就是天篷和亭子，

那麼永恆主你的上帝就必使你恢復故業，就必憐憫你，將你從永恆主你的上帝分散你到的萬族之民中再招集回來。你被趕散的人就使在天邊，永恆主你的上帝也必從那裏將你招集回來，從那裏將你帶來。

你使我們像羊給人吞喫，使我們四散於列國中。

猶大王約雅斤出來投降巴比倫王，他和他母親、臣僕、大臣和內侍都出來；巴比倫王便拿住他，那是巴比倫王在位第八年。巴比倫王將永恆主之殿的一切寶物和王宮的寶物都從那裏取出來，又把以色列王所羅門在永恆主殿堂所造的一切金器都砍壞了，正如永恆主所說過的。他又使耶路撒冷眾人、眾大臣、和一切有力氣英勇的人、共一萬名、連一切匠人、鐵匠、都去過着流亡的生活；除了國中之民極貧寒的以外、沒有剩下的。他使約雅斤流亡到巴比倫去；也使王母王妃和王的內侍、以及國中的權貴、都從耶路撒冷流亡到巴比倫。一切有力氣的人、七千名、和匠人鐵匠一千人、這一切能作戰的勇士、巴比倫王都使他們流亡到巴比倫去。

你們所怕的巴比倫王、你們不要怕；不要怕他，永恆主發神諭說，因為是我與你們同在，要拯救你們，要援救你們脫離他的手。

你既將永恆主做你的避難所，將至高者做你的居所，禍患就必不臨到你，災病也不挨近你的家。因為他必為了你而吩咐他的使者，在你所行的路上都保護你。他們必用手托着你，免得你的腳碰着石頭。你必踹着猛獅和虺蛇，踐踏少壯獅子和大蛇。因為他專心愛我，我就解救他，保護他於高處，因為他認識我的名。他向我呼求，我就應他；他在患難中、我必和他同在；我必救拔他，使他尊貴。我必以長壽使他滿足，使他看我的拯救。

耶利米在永恆主殿中說了這些話、祭司們神言人們和眾民都聽見了。

因為是我與你同在，要拯救你，永恆主發神諭說；因為我必將所趕散你到的列國盡行毁滅；至於你呢、我卻不盡行毁滅；我要合乎常度地懲罰你，卻不能讓你免受刑罰。
