“ Therefore say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’

“ So tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ I sent some of my people far away among the nations. I scattered them among the countries. But for a little while I have been their temple in the countries where they have gone.” ’

Therefore say,‘ Thus says the Lord God: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a while in the countries where they have gone.’

“ Therefore, tell the exiles,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I have scattered you in the countries of the world, I will be a sanctuary to you during your time in exile.

“ Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Though I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’

Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Though I had removed them far away among the nations, and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them for a little while in the countries where they had gone.” ’

Therefore say,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet I shall be a little sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.”’

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they are come.

“ Therefore say: This is what the Lord God says: Though I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

你把他們藏在你面前的隱密處，免得他們陷在世人的陰謀裡；又把他們保護在帳棚內，以免落在口舌的爭競中。

雖然這樣，他們住在仇敵之地的時候，我還是不棄絕他們，也不厭棄他們，不把他們滅絕，我不會違背我與他們所立的約；因為我是耶和華他們的神。

住在至高者的隱密處的，必在全能者的蔭庇下安居。

“耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘被擄去的猶大人，就是我打發離開這地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他們如同這些好的無花果一樣，眷顧他們。我必關注他們，眷顧他們，領他們歸回這地。我必建立他們，必不拆毀；我必栽植他們，必不拔除。

“列國啊！你們要聽耶和華的話，要在遠方的海島傳揚，說：‘那趕散以色列的神，必再招集他們；必看守他們，像牧人看守自己的羊群一樣。’

耶和華的名是堅固的高臺，義人投奔，就得安全。

祭司和先知對領袖和眾民說：“這人應該處死，因為他說預言攻擊這城，正如你們親耳聽見的。”

然後，耶和華必在錫安全山之上，並會眾之上，在日間創造雲和煙，夜間創造有火燄的光亮，因為在一切榮耀之上，必有遮蓋。

那時，耶和華你的神就必使你這被擄的人回歸，他必憐憫你；耶和華你的神必從你被分散到的萬民中，把你再召集回來。你被趕逐的人，就是在天涯海角，耶和華你的神也必從那裡把你召集回來，從那裡把你帶回。

你使我們像給人宰吃的羊，把我們分散在列國中。

猶大王約雅斤和他的母親、眾臣僕、眾領袖，以及眾太監，出城投降巴比倫王。巴比倫王於是捉住他。那時，是巴比倫王在位第八年。他又從耶路撒冷把耶和華殿一切寶物和王宮的寶物取去，並且把以色列王所羅門在耶和華殿所做的一切金器都搗毀，就像耶和華所說的。他又擄去耶路撒冷的眾民、眾領袖，以及英勇的戰士共一萬人，還有工匠、鐵匠；除了國民中最貧窮的以外，沒有剩下的。他把約雅斤擄到巴比倫去，又把太后、后妃、太監和國中的要員都從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫；還有七千位戰士，一千位工匠和鐵匠，全都是能作戰的勇士，巴比倫王把他們都擄到巴比倫去。

你們所怕的巴比倫王，你們不要懼怕他；你們不要懼怕他（這是耶和華的宣告），因為我與你們同在，要拯救你們，要搭救你們脫離他的手。

你既然把耶和華當作自己的避難所，把至高者當作自己的居所，禍患必不臨到你，災害必不臨近你的帳棚。因為他為了你，會吩咐自己的使者，在你所行的一切路上保護你。他們必用手托住你，免得你的腳碰到石頭。你必踐踏獅子和虺蛇。你必踏碎少壯獅子和大蛇。耶和華說：“因為他戀慕我，我必搭救他；因為他認識我的名，我必保護他。他求告我，我必應允他；他在患難中，我必與他同在；我必拯救他，使他得尊榮。我必使他得享長壽，又向他顯明我的救恩。”

耶利米在耶和華殿裡所說的這些話，眾祭司、眾先知和眾民都聽見了。

因為我與你同在，要拯救你；我要消滅我趕散你去的列國，卻必不消滅你。我要按公正懲治你，決不能免你受罰。’”這是耶和華的宣告。
