Now it happened, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried with a loud voice, and said,“ Ah, Lord GOD! Will You make a complete end of the remnant of Israel?”

我正傳神言的時候，比拿雅的兒子毘拉提死了；於是我臉伏於地，大聲喊叫說：『哀啊，主永恆主啊，你對以色列餘剩之民難道就要盡行毁滅麼？』

我預言時、比拿雅子毘拉提死、我則面伏於地、大聲呼曰、哀哉、主耶和華歟、爾欲盡滅以色列遺民乎、○

余傳命之時、庇拿雅子比喇底死、予俯伏於地、大聲呼曰、耶和華與、豈欲翦滅以色列族、靡有孑遺乎。

我以西結述預言時、比拿雅子毘拉提亞死、我面伏於地、大聲呼曰、哀哉、主天主歟、以色列遺民、主欲盡滅之乎、○

Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?”

Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died as I was prophesying. Then I fell with my face toward the ground. I cried out in a loud voice. I said,“ Lord and King, will you destroy all the Israelites who are still left alive?”

And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said,“ Ah, Lord God! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

While I was still prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah suddenly died. Then I fell face down on the ground and cried out,“ O Sovereign Lord, are you going to kill everyone in Israel?”

Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out loudly,“ Oh, Lord GOD! You are bringing the remnant of Israel to an end!”

Now it came about, as I prophesied, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice, and said,“ Oh, Lord God! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete destruction?”

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out with a loud voice:“ Oh, Lord God! Will You bring to an end the remnant of Israel?”

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

Now, while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I threw myself face down and cried out with a loud voice,“ Alas, sovereign LORD! You are completely wiping out the remnant of Israel!”

When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said,“ Ah Lord Yahweh! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the East Gate of the LORD’s house, which faces eastward; and there at the door of the gate were twenty-five men, among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

So it was, that while they were killing them, I was left alone; and I fell on my face and cried out, and said,“ Ah, Lord GOD! Will You destroy all the remnant of Israel in pouring out Your fury on Jerusalem?”

Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.

My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments.

Therefore He said that He would destroy them, Had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, To turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them.

For they will turn your sons away from following Me, to serve other gods; so the anger of the Lord will be aroused against you and destroy you suddenly.

Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.

And so it was, when they had finished eating the grass of the land, that I said:“ O Lord GOD, forgive, I pray! Oh, that Jacob may stand, For he is small!”

And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

Then Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of the Lord until evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they put dust on their heads.And Joshua said,“ Alas, Lord GOD, why have You brought this people over the Jordan at all— to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Oh, that we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of the Jordan!O Lord, what shall I say when Israel turns its back before its enemies?For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear it, and surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. Then what will You do for Your great name?”

Then David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, having in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. So David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.And David said to God,“ Was it not I who commanded the people to be numbered? I am the one who has sinned and done evil indeed; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray, O Lord my God, be against me and my father’s house, but not against Your people that they should be plagued.”

Then I said:“ O Lord GOD, cease, I pray! Oh, that Jacob may stand, For he is small!”

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.

Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet,“ Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie.Therefore thus says the Lord:‘ Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the Lord.’”So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.

I the Lord have spoken this. I will surely do so to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. In this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.’”Now the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation complain against him by bringing a bad report of the land,those very men who brought the evil report about the land, died by the plague before the Lord.

And I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you committed in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which the Lord was angry with you, to destroy you. But the Lord listened to me at that time also.

Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And your judgments are like light that goes forth.

So it came to pass when King Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, who cried out against the altar in Bethel, that he stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Arrest him!” Then his hand, which he stretched out toward him, withered, so that he could not pull it back to himself.
