Now, while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I threw myself face down and cried out with a loud voice,“ Alas, sovereign LORD! You are completely wiping out the remnant of Israel!”

我正傳神言的時候，比拿雅的兒子毘拉提死了；於是我臉伏於地，大聲喊叫說：『哀啊，主永恆主啊，你對以色列餘剩之民難道就要盡行毁滅麼？』

我預言時、比拿雅子毘拉提死、我則面伏於地、大聲呼曰、哀哉、主耶和華歟、爾欲盡滅以色列遺民乎、○

余傳命之時、庇拿雅子比喇底死、予俯伏於地、大聲呼曰、耶和華與、豈欲翦滅以色列族、靡有孑遺乎。

我以西結述預言時、比拿雅子毘拉提亞死、我面伏於地、大聲呼曰、哀哉、主天主歟、以色列遺民、主欲盡滅之乎、○

Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?”

Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died as I was prophesying. Then I fell with my face toward the ground. I cried out in a loud voice. I said,“ Lord and King, will you destroy all the Israelites who are still left alive?”

And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said,“ Ah, Lord God! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

While I was still prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah suddenly died. Then I fell face down on the ground and cried out,“ O Sovereign Lord, are you going to kill everyone in Israel?”

Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out loudly,“ Oh, Lord GOD! You are bringing the remnant of Israel to an end!”

Now it came about, as I prophesied, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice, and said,“ Oh, Lord God! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete destruction?”

Now it happened, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried with a loud voice, and said,“ Ah, Lord GOD! Will You make a complete end of the remnant of Israel?”

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out with a loud voice:“ Oh, Lord God! Will You bring to an end the remnant of Israel?”

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said,“ Ah Lord Yahweh! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

A wind lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the Lord’s temple that faces the east. There, at the entrance of the gate, I noticed twenty-five men. Among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, officials of the people.

While they were striking them down, I was left alone, and I threw myself face down and cried out,“ Ah, sovereign LORD! Will you destroy the entire remnant of Israel when you pour out your fury on Jerusalem?”

When Ananias heard these words he collapsed and died, and great fear gripped all who heard about it.

My body trembles because I fear you; I am afraid of your judgments.ע( Ayin)

He threatened to destroy them, but Moses, his chosen one, interceded with him and turned back his destructive anger.

for they will turn your sons away from me to worship other gods. Then the anger of the LORD will erupt against you and he will quickly destroy you.

Therefore, his disaster will come suddenly; in an instant he will be broken, and there will be no remedy.

When they had completely consumed the earth’s vegetation, I said,“ Sovereign LORD, forgive Israel! How can Jacob survive? He is too weak!”

Now look, the hand of the Lord is against you, and you will be blind, unable to see the sun for a time!” Immediately mistiness and darkness came over him, and he went around seeking people to lead him by the hand.

Joshua tore his clothes; he and the leaders of Israel lay face down on the ground before the ark of the LORD until evening and threw dirt on their heads.Joshua prayed,“ O, Master, LORD! Why did you bring these people across the Jordan to hand us over to the Amorites so they could destroy us?If only we had been satisfied to live on the other side of the Jordan! O Lord, what can I say now that Israel has retreated before its enemies?When the Canaanites and all who live in the land hear about this, they will turn against us and destroy the very memory of us from the earth. What will you do to protect your great reputation?”

David looked up and saw the LORD’s messenger standing between the earth and sky with his sword drawn and in his hand, stretched out over Jerusalem. David and the leaders, covered with sackcloth, threw themselves down with their faces to the ground.David said to God,“ Was I not the one who decided to number the army? I am the one who sinned and committed this awful deed! As for these sheep– what have they done? O LORD my God, attack me and my family, but remove the plague from your people!”

I said,“ Sovereign LORD, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is too weak!”

So I prophesied as I was commanded. There was a sound when I prophesied– I heard a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.

Then the prophet Jeremiah told the prophet Hananiah,“ Listen, Hananiah! The LORD did not send you! You are making these people trust in a lie!So the LORD says,‘ I will most assuredly remove you from the face of the earth. You will die this very year because you have counseled rebellion against the LORD.’”In the seventh month of that very same year the prophet Hananiah died.

At once she collapsed at his feet and died. So when the young men came in, they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

I, the LORD, have said,“ I will surely do so to all this evil congregation that has gathered together against me. In this wilderness they will be finished, and there they will die!”’”The men whom Moses sent to investigate the land, who returned and made the whole community murmur against him by producing an evil report about the land,those men who produced the evil report about the land, died by the plague before the LORD.

Then I again fell down before the LORD for forty days and nights; I ate and drank nothing because of all the sin you had committed, doing such evil before the LORD as to enrage him.For I was terrified at the LORD’s intense anger that threatened to destroy you. But he listened to me this time as well.

Therefore, I will certainly cut you into pieces at the hands of the prophets; I will certainly kill you in fulfillment of my oracles of judgment; for my judgment will come forth like the light of the dawn.

When the king heard what the prophet cried out against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam, standing at the altar, extended his hand and ordered,“ Seize him!” The hand he had extended shriveled up and he could not pull it back.
