Now it came about, as I prophesied, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice, and said,“ Oh, Lord God! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete destruction?”

我正傳神言的時候，比拿雅的兒子毘拉提死了；於是我臉伏於地，大聲喊叫說：『哀啊，主永恆主啊，你對以色列餘剩之民難道就要盡行毁滅麼？』

我預言時、比拿雅子毘拉提死、我則面伏於地、大聲呼曰、哀哉、主耶和華歟、爾欲盡滅以色列遺民乎、○

余傳命之時、庇拿雅子比喇底死、予俯伏於地、大聲呼曰、耶和華與、豈欲翦滅以色列族、靡有孑遺乎。

我以西結述預言時、比拿雅子毘拉提亞死、我面伏於地、大聲呼曰、哀哉、主天主歟、以色列遺民、主欲盡滅之乎、○

Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?”

Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died as I was prophesying. Then I fell with my face toward the ground. I cried out in a loud voice. I said,“ Lord and King, will you destroy all the Israelites who are still left alive?”

And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said,“ Ah, Lord God! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

While I was still prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah suddenly died. Then I fell face down on the ground and cried out,“ O Sovereign Lord, are you going to kill everyone in Israel?”

Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out loudly,“ Oh, Lord GOD! You are bringing the remnant of Israel to an end!”

Now it happened, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried with a loud voice, and said,“ Ah, Lord GOD! Will You make a complete end of the remnant of Israel?”

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out with a loud voice:“ Oh, Lord God! Will You bring to an end the remnant of Israel?”

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

Now, while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I threw myself face down and cried out with a loud voice,“ Alas, sovereign LORD! You are completely wiping out the remnant of Israel!”

When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said,“ Ah Lord Yahweh! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

Now the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the Lord’s house which faced eastward. And behold, there were twenty five men at the entrance of the gate, and among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.

And as they were striking the people and I alone was left, I fell on my face and cried out, saying,“ Oh, Lord God! Are You going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel by pouring out Your wrath on Jerusalem?”

And as he heard these words, Ananias collapsed and died; and great fear came over all who heard about it.

My flesh trembles from the fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments. Ayin

Therefore He said that He would destroy them, If Moses, His chosen one, had not stood in the gap before Him, To turn away His wrath from destroying them.

For they will turn your sons away from following Me, and they will serve other gods; then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you and He will quickly destroy you.

Therefore his disaster will come suddenly; Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing.

And it came about, when it had finished eating the vegetation of the land, that I said,“ Lord God, please pardon! How can Jacob stand? For he is small.”

Now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and not see the sun for a time.” And immediately a mist and a darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking those who would lead him by the hand.

Then Joshua tore his clothes and fell to the ground on his face before the ark of the Lord until the evening, both he and the elders of Israel; and they put dust on their heads.And Joshua said,“ Oh, Lord God! Why did You ever bring this people across the Jordan, only to hand us over to the Amorites, to eliminate us? If only we had been willing to live beyond the Jordan!O Lord, what can I say since Israel has turned their back before their enemies?For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear about it, and they will surround us and eliminate our name from the earth. And what will You do for Your great name?”

Then David raised his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, with his drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, covered with sackcloth, fell on their faces.And David said to God,“ Is it not I who commanded to count the people? Indeed, I am the one who has sinned and acted very wickedly, but these sheep, what have they done? Lord, my God, just let Your hand be against me and my father’s household, and not against Your people as a plague.”

Then I said,“ Lord God, please stop! How can Jacob stand? For he is small.”

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a loud noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

Then Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah the prophet,“ Listen now, Hananiah: the Lord has not sent you, and you have made this people trust in a lie.Therefore, this is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to remove you from the face of the earth. This year you are going to die, because you spoke falsely against the Lord.’ ”So Hananiah the prophet died in the same year, in the seventh month.

And immediately she collapsed at his feet and died; and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

I, the Lord, have spoken, I certainly will do this to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. They shall be worn out in this wilderness, and there they shall die.’ ”As for the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, and who returned and led all the congregation to grumble against him by bringing a bad report about the land,those men who brought the bad report of the land also died by a plague in the presence of the Lord.

Then I fell down before the Lord like the first time, for forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you had committed by doing what was evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.For I was afraid of the anger and the rage with which the Lord was angry with you so as to destroy you; but the Lord listened to me that time as well.

Therefore I have cut them in pieces by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And the judgments on you are like the light that shines.

Now when the king heard the statement of the man of God which he cried out against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Seize him!” But his hand which he had stretched out toward him dried up, and he could not draw it back to himself.
