The LORD said to the man dressed in linen,“ Go between the wheelwork underneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with burning coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” He went as I watched.

耶和华对那身穿细麻衣的人说：“你进到基路伯下面旋转的轮子中，从基路伯之间取出火炭装满两手掌，撒在城上。”我亲眼看见他进去。

耶和华对那身穿细麻衣的人说：“你进到基路伯下面旋转的轮子中，从基路伯之间取出火炭装满两手掌，撒在城上。”我亲眼看见他进去。

耶和华对那穿细麻衣的人说：“你到基路伯天使下边旋转的轮子中间，双手拿满火炭，撒在城上。”我见他进去了。

主对那身穿细麻布衣服的人说：“你进到基路伯以下的轮子之间那里去；从基路伯之间，用两手捧满火炭，然后把它们撒在城上。”他就在我眼前进去了。

主對那穿細麻衣的人說：「你進去，在旋轉的輪內基路伯以下，從基路伯中間將火炭取滿兩手，撒在城上。」我就見他進去。

耶和華對那身穿細麻衣的人說：「你進到基路伯下面旋轉的輪子中，從基路伯之間取出火炭裝滿兩手掌，撒在城上。」我親眼看見他進去。

耶和華對那身穿細麻衣的人說：「你進到基路伯下面旋轉的輪子中，從基路伯之間取出火炭裝滿兩手掌，撒在城上。」我親眼看見他進去。

耶和華對那穿細麻衣的人說：「你到基路伯天使下邊旋轉的輪子中間，雙手拿滿火炭，撒在城上。」我見他進去了。

主對那身穿細麻布衣服的人說：“你進到基路伯以下的輪子之間那裡去；從基路伯之間，用兩手捧滿火炭，然後把它們撒在城上。”他就在我眼前進去了。

主對那身穿細麻服裝的人說：『你進去，在旋轉輪中間、基路伯以下、從基路伯之間、將炭火取滿了兩捧，撒在城上。』我親眼看見他進去了。

主告衣枲衣者曰、爾入基路伯下、旋輪之間、自基路伯間、兩手盈以熾炭、散之於邑、彼則入焉、我目睹之、

主諭衣白細麻衣者曰、爾入基路伯下之輪中、自諸基路伯中、取火炭滿掬、散之邑上、我遂見其往、

The Lord said to the man clothed in linen,“ Go in among the wheels beneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with burning coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” And as I watched, he went in.

The Lord spoke to the man who was wearing linen clothes. He said,“ Go in among the wheels beneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with burning coals from the fire that is among the cherubim. Scatter the coals over the city.” As I watched, he went in.

And he said to the man clothed in linen,“ Go in among the whirling wheels underneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with burning coals from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” And he went in before my eyes.

Then the Lord spoke to the man in linen clothing and said,“ Go between the whirling wheels beneath the cherubim, and take a handful of burning coals and scatter them over the city.” He did this as I watched.

The LORD spoke to the man clothed in linen and said,“ Go inside the wheelwork beneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with blazing coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” So he went in as I watched.

And He spoke to the man clothed in linen and said,“ Enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” And he entered in my sight.

Then He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said,“ Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” And he went in as I watched.

And he spake unto the man clothed in linen, and said, Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both thy hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

The Lord spoke to the man clothed in linen and said,“ Go inside the wheelwork beneath the cherubim. Fill your hands with hot coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” So he went in as I watched.

And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels,[ even] under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter[ them] over the city. And he went in in my sight.

He spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said,“ Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” He went in as I watched.

Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it on the earth, and there were crashes of thunder, roaring, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

In the middle of the living beings was something like burning coals of fire or like torches. It moved back and forth among the living beings. It was bright, and lightning was flashing out of the fire.

and say to the scrub land of the Negev,‘ Hear the word of the LORD: This is what the sovereign LORD says: Look here, I am about to start a fire in you, and it will devour every green tree and every dry tree in you. The flaming fire will not be extinguished, and the whole surface of the ground from the Negev to the north will be scorched by it.And everyone will see that I, the LORD, have burned it; it will not be extinguished.’”

Next, I noticed six men coming from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his war club in his hand. Among them was a man dressed in linen with a writing kit at his side. They came and stood beside the bronze altar.Then the glory of the God of Israel went up from the cherub where it had rested to the threshold of the temple. He called to the man dressed in linen who had the writing kit at his side.

“ I, the LORD, also solemnly assert:‘ King Zedekiah of Judah, his officials, and the people who remain in Jerusalem or who have gone to live in Egypt are like those bad figs. I consider them to be just like those bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.I will bring such disaster on them that all the kingdoms of the earth will be horrified. I will make them an object of reproach, a proverbial example of disaster. I will make them an object of ridicule, an example to be used in curses. That is how they will be remembered wherever I banish them.I will bring war, starvation, and disease on them until they are completely destroyed from the land I gave them and their ancestors.’”

The LORD will give a mighty shout and intervene in power, with furious anger and flaming, destructive fire, with a driving rainstorm and hailstones.

But then one of the seraphs flew toward me. In his hand was a hot coal he had taken from the altar with tongs.He touched my mouth with it and said,“ Look, this coal has touched your lips. Your evil is removed; your sin is forgiven.”

Then I looked, and I saw one wheel on the ground beside each of the four beings.The appearance of the wheels and their construction was like gleaming jasper, and all four wheels looked alike. Their structure was like a wheel within a wheel.When they moved they would go in any of the four directions they faced without turning as they moved.Their rims were high and awesome, and the rims of all four wheels were full of eyes all around.When the living beings moved, the wheels beside them moved; when the living beings rose up from the ground, the wheels rose up too.Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise up beside them because the spirit of the living being was in the wheel.

Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,“ Take handfuls of soot from a furnace, and have Moses throw it into the air while Pharaoh is watching.It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt and will cause boils to break out and fester on both people and animals in all the land of Egypt.”So they took soot from a furnace and stood before Pharaoh, Moses threw it into the air, and it caused festering boils to break out on both people and animals.

When the cherubim moved, the wheels moved beside them; when the cherubim spread their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels did not move from their side.

From the brightness in front of him came hail and fiery coals.The LORD thundered in the sky; the sovereign One shouted.

Then one of the cherubim stretched out his hand toward the fire which was among the cherubim. He took some and put it into the hands of the man dressed in linen, who took it and left.( The cherubim appeared to have the form of human hands under their wings.)As I watched, I noticed four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; the wheels gleamed like jasper.As for their appearance, all four of them looked the same, something like a wheel within a wheel.When they moved, they would go in any of the four directions they faced without turning as they moved; in the direction the head would turn they would follow without turning as they moved,along with their entire bodies, their backs, their hands, and their wings. The wheels of the four of them were full of eyes all around.As for their wheels, they were called“ the wheelwork” as I listened.

May he rain down fiery coals upon them! May he throw them into the fire! From bottomless pits they will not escape.

He burned down the LORD’s temple, the royal palace, and all the houses in Jerusalem, including every large house.

Next I noticed the man dressed in linen with the writing kit at his side bringing back word:“ I have done just as you commanded me.”

“‘ Therefore this is what the sovereign LORD says: Woe to the city of bloodshed! I will also make the pile high.Pile up the bones, kindle the fire; cook the meat well, mix in the spices, let the bones be charred.Set the empty pot on the coals, until it becomes hot and its copper glows, until its uncleanness melts within it and its rot is consumed.It has tried my patience; yet its thick rot is not removed from it. Subject its rot to the fire!You mix uncleanness with obscene conduct. I tried to cleanse you, but you are not clean. You will not be cleansed from your uncleanness until I have exhausted my anger on you.“‘ I the LORD have spoken; judgment is coming and I will act! I will not relent, or show pity, or be sorry! I will judge you according to your conduct and your deeds, declares the sovereign LORD.’”
