Yahweh’s glory went out from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

其時耶和華之榮光、離室之閾、止於基路伯上、

耶和華之榮煌、離殿門、覆𠼻𡀔［口氷］上、

主之榮光遂離殿之門閾、臨於基路伯上、

Then the glory of the Lord departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.

Then the glory of the Lord moved away from the doorway of the temple. It stopped above the cherubim.

Then the glory of the Lord went out from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

Then the glory of the Lord moved out from the entrance of the Temple and hovered above the cherubim.

Then the glory of the LORD moved away from the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.

He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind.

The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, from Sinai, into the sanctuary.You have ascended on high. You have led away captives. You have received gifts among people, yes, among the rebellious also, that Yah God might dwell there.

so that he abandoned the tent of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men,and delivered his strength into captivity, his glory into the adversary’s hand.

So he drove out the man; and he placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.Yahweh’s glory mounted up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Yahweh’s glory.

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!Behold, your house is left to you desolate.For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say,‘ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein. Therefore I have made it to them as an unclean thing.I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a plunder; and they will profane it.I will also turn my face from them, and they will profane my secret place. Robbers will enter into it, and profane it.

Though they bring up their children, yet I will bereave them, so that not a man shall be left. Indeed, woe also to them when I depart from them!

“ But go now to my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.Now, because you have done all these works,” says Yahweh,“ and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you didn’t hear; and I called you, but you didn’t answer;therefore I will do to the house which is called by my name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

Be instructed, Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from you; lest I make you a desolation, an uninhabited land.”

As they continued on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
