Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

Then the glory of the Lord departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.

Then the glory of the Lord moved away from the doorway of the temple. It stopped above the cherubim.

Then the glory of the Lord went out from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

Then the glory of the Lord moved out from the entrance of the Temple and hovered above the cherubim.

Yahweh’s glory went out from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

The chariots of God[ are] twenty thousand,[ even] thousands of angels: the Lord[ is] among them,[ as in] Sinai, in the holy[ place].Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea,[ for] the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell[ among them].

So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent[ which] he placed among men;And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy’s hand.

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub,[ and stood] over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’S glory.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,[ thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under[ her] wings, and ye would not!Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed[ is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations[ and] of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret[ place]: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them,[ that there shall] not[ be] a man[ left]: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!

But go ye now unto my place which[ was] in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;Therefore will I do unto[ this] house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold,[ there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
