Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

我望見基路伯上、穹蒼之中、有形若座、色若碧玉、

我觀𠼻𡀔［口氷］上、穹蒼之中、有狀若座、色若青玉、

我見諸基路伯首上之穹蒼中、有狀如寶座、其色如藍寶石、

I looked, and I saw the likeness of a throne of lapis lazuli above the vault that was over the heads of the cherubim.

I looked up and saw something that appeared to be a throne made out of lapis lazuli. It was above the huge space that was spread out over the heads of the cherubim.

Then I looked, and behold, on the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim there appeared above them something like a sapphire, in appearance like a throne.

In my vision I saw what appeared to be a throne of blue lapis lazuli above the crystal surface over the heads of the cherubim.

Then I looked, and there above the expanse over the heads of the cherubim was something like a throne with the appearance of lapis lazuli.

Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.

And I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

Then I looked, and there above the expanse over the heads of the cherubim was something like sapphire stone resembling the shape of a throne that appeared above them.

As I watched, I saw on the platform above the top of the cherubim something like a sapphire, resembling the shape of a throne, appearing above them.

Then I looked, and see, in the expanse that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

And they saw the God of Israel: and[ there was] under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in[ his] clearness.

And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and[ one] sat on the throne.And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and[ there was] a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

And it came to pass after many days, that the LORD said unto me, Arise, go to Euphrates, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded thee to hide there.

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw[ them], he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set[ him] at his own right hand in the heavenly[ places],

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks[ one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

The chariots of God[ are] twenty thousand,[ even] thousands of angels: the Lord[ is] among them,[ as in] Sinai, in the holy[ place].Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea,[ for] the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell[ among them].

Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel[ was] over them above.

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature[ was] as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.And under the firmament[ were] their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.And there was a voice from the firmament that[ was] over their heads, when they stood,[ and] had let down their wings.And above the firmament that[ was] over their heads[ was] the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne[ was] the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared[ him].

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him,[ Art] thou for us, or for our adversaries?And he said, Nay; but[ as] captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?And the captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest[ is] holy. And Joshua did so.

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

This[ is] the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they[ were] the cherubims.

And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men,[ with] a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down,[ even] the crown of your glory.The cities of the south shall be shut up, and none shall open[ them]: Judah shall be carried away captive all of it, it shall be wholly carried away captive.Lift up your eyes, and behold them that come from the north: where[ is] the flock[ that] was given thee, thy beautiful flock?What wilt thou say when he shall punish thee? for thou hast taught them[ to be] captains,[ and] as chief over thee: shall not sorrows take thee, as a woman in travail?And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered,[ and] thy heels made bare.

And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy[ it] for twenty’s sake.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof,[ and] the mighty men of valour.
