I looked, and I saw the likeness of a throne of lapis lazuli above the vault that was over the heads of the cherubim.

從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裡的那位獨生子——神，他將神表明了出來。

他乘駕基路伯飛翔，在風的翅膀上翱翔。

後來，守望者呼喊：「主啊，我白天一直站在守望臺，每夜立在我的哨所，看哪，駕駢馬戰車的軍兵來了！」有人應聲說：「傾倒了！巴比倫傾倒了！巴比倫神明的一切雕像都被打碎在地了！」

雅各就給那地方起名為毗努伊勒，因為他說：「我面對面看見了神，但我的性命得以保住。」

亞伯拉罕又說：「看哪，我再次斗膽向我主說，假如在那裡找到二十個呢？」耶和華說：「因這二十個的緣故，我也不會毀滅那城。」
