I looked, and I saw the likeness of a throne of lapis lazuli above the vault that was over the heads of the cherubim.

自己獨自留下。這時，有一個人來和他摔跤，直到黎明。

多日後，耶和華對我說：「去幼發拉底河邊取回我吩咐你藏的腰帶。」

抬頭看見三個人站在對面，就跑去迎接他們，俯伏在地，

耶和華說：「我要做的事怎麼可以瞞著亞伯拉罕呢？

上帝曾用這大能使基督從死裡復活，使基督在天上坐在自己右邊，

我要登上瞭望塔，站在望樓上等候，看耶和華要對我說什麼，要怎樣答覆我的抱怨。

有一位好像人子耶穌的站在這些燈臺中間。祂長袍垂腳，金帶圍胸，

上帝帶著千千萬萬的戰車從西奈山來到祂的聖所。你升上高天時，帶著許多俘虜；你接受了眾人的禮物，甚至叛逆者的禮物。耶和華上帝就住在那裡。

於是，基路伯天使展開翅膀，輪子跟在他們旁邊，在他們上面有以色列上帝的榮耀。

活物的頭上好像鋪展著茫茫的穹蒼，如同頂著耀眼的水晶。穹蒼下四個活物伸展翅膀，彼此相對，各用兩個翅膀遮蔽身體。他們移動時，翅膀發出的響聲如洪濤之聲，既像全能者的聲音，又像軍隊的呐喊。活物站住的時候，便將翅膀垂下。他們站立垂下翅膀時，有聲音從他們頭頂的穹蒼之上傳來。在他們頭頂的穹蒼之上彷彿有藍寶石的寶座，有一位形狀像人的高高坐在寶座上。

從來沒有人見過上帝，只有父懷中的獨一上帝把祂顯明出來。

耶和華對我說：

這些是我在迦巴魯河邊所看見的活物，他們在以色列上帝的下面。我知道他們是基路伯天使。

祂乘著基路伯天使飛翔，乘著風的翅膀疾馳。

守望的人大喊：「我主啊，我在瞭望塔上日夜觀看。看啊，戰車和一對對的騎兵來了。」他又接著說：「巴比倫傾倒了！傾倒了！她所有的神像都被打碎在地上。」

雅各稱那地方為毗努伊勒，因為他說：「我當面見過上帝，竟能活命。」

耶和華讓我對君王和太后說：「從寶座上下來吧，因為你們頭上華美的王冠將要掉落。」南部的城邑將被圍困，無人能解圍，猶大人都要被擄，無一倖免。耶路撒冷啊，舉目看看那些從北方來的敵人吧，從前賜給你的佳美羊群——你的百姓如今在哪裡呢？耶和華讓你結交的盟友來統治你，你還有什麼話可說？難怪你痛苦不堪，就像分娩的婦人。也許你在想：「為什麼這些事發生在我身上？」你的裙子被撕破，你遭受蹂躪，是因為你罪大惡極。

亞伯拉罕說：「我大膽再問一次，倘若在那裡只找到二十個義人呢？」耶和華說：「為了那二十個人的緣故，我也不會毀滅那城。」

耶和華對約書亞說：「看啊，我已經把耶利哥、耶利哥王及其英勇的戰士都交在你手中了。
