今我人昏然如隔琉璃、後所觀乃親晤對、今所知未全、後必深知、如主知我焉、

我耶和華爾之救主、忽生憤怒、暫遐棄爾、後施矜恤、永世靡暨。昔挪亞時、我矢之云、自後洪水、必不汎濫於天下、今也、我亦誓不怒爾責爾矣。我耶和華矜憫為懷、與爾立約、錫爾平康、必不爽約、山岡可移、我之仁慈、斷不可移。

曰、宜聽我言、如爾曹感於神、我以異象顯現、或夢中默示、惟我僕摩西、盡忠於我家、不示以異象、不見於夢寐、使覿我面、與之晤言、明以相告、毋庸隱喻、爾曹非之、曷不懼乎。

置虹雲中、為我與億兆立約之徵。厥後我使雲覆地、雲中虹現、於時我必念我與爾眾、及諸生物所立之約、嗣後必無洪水、翦滅眾生。虹顯雲中、我觀之、則念我與眾生百族所立之永約。
