Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.For this[ is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for[ as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you,[ I] the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision,[ and] will speak unto him in a dream.My servant Moses[ is] not so, who[ is] faithful in all mine house.With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what[ are] we, that ye murmur against us?

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy[ place], that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.

And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat:[ which] when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:And I will remember my covenant, which[ is] between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that[ is] upon the earth.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.And when the disciples heard[ it], they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
