活物行走的時候，輪子也在牠們旁邊行走；活物從地面升起的時候，輪子也升起。靈要往哪裏行，活物就往哪裏行；活物升起，輪子也跟牠們一道升起；因為活物的靈就在輪子裏。那些行走的時候，這些也行走；那些站住的時候，這些也站住；那些從地面升起的時候，輪子也跟牠們一道升起；因為活物的靈就在輪子裏。

我正在觀看，就看見有些寶座設立着，有一位壽高年邁者就席坐着；他的衣服皎白如雪，他的頭髮如純淨的羊毛；他的寶座乃是火燄；其輪子是燒着的烈火。

但每一個都有四個臉面，每一個都有四個翅膀。

這些輪子呢、我親耳聽得到的是說，它們叫做旋轉輪。每一個基路伯各有四個臉面：第一是牛的臉面，第二是人的臉面；第三是獅子的臉面；第四是鷹的臉面。基路伯上升了，這些是我在迦巴魯河邊所看見的活物。基路伯行走的時候，輪子也在牠們旁邊行走；基路伯展起翅膀離開基地上升的時候，輪子也不轉離牠們旁邊。那些站住的時候，這些也站住；那些上升的時候，這些也跟牠們一同上升；因為活物的靈就在這些輪子裏面。

第一隻活物彷彿獅子，第二隻活物彷彿牛犢，第三隻活物有臉面像人的臉面，第四隻活物彷彿飛着的鷹。
