那一日，我必把我百姓所住的歌珊地分別出來，使那裏沒有成羣的蒼蠅，好叫你知道我－耶和華是在全地之中。

三天內，人人彼此看不見，誰也不敢起身離開原地；但所有以色列人住的地方卻有光。

所以，主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我的僕人必得吃，你們卻飢餓；看哪，我的僕人必得喝，你們卻乾渴；看哪，我的僕人必歡喜，你們卻蒙羞。看哪，我的僕人因心中喜樂而歡呼，你們卻因心裏悲痛而哀哭，因靈裏憂傷而哀號。

那時你們必再一次看出義人和惡人，事奉上帝和不事奉上帝的人有何差別。」

這血要在你們所住的房屋上作記號；我一見這血，就逾越你們。我擊打埃及地的時候，災殃必不臨到你們身上施行毀滅。」
