Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron.“ This time I have sinned,” he said to them.“ The Lord is in the right, and I and my people are in the wrong.

The LORD is righteous; he has cut the ropes of the wicked.

The LORD is just, for I have rebelled against his command. Listen, all you people; look at my pain. My young women and young men have gone into captivity.

The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all his acts.

So the LORD kept the disaster in mind and brought it on us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all he has done. But we have not obeyed him.

Saul said,“ I have sinned. Please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel. Come back with me so I can bow in worship to the LORD your God.”

Saul answered Samuel,“ I have sinned. I have transgressed the LORD’s command and your words. Because I was afraid of the people, I obeyed them.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgment.

Saul responded,“ I have sinned. Come back, my son David, I will never harm you again because today you considered my life precious. I have been a fool! I’ve committed a grave error.”

The LORD has made himself known; he has executed justice, snaring the wicked by the work of their hands. Higgaion. Selah

Balaam said to the angel of the LORD,“ I have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the path to confront me. And now, if it is evil in your sight, I will go back.”

Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.
