Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron.“ This time I have sinned,” he said to them.“ The Lord is in the right, and I and my people are in the wrong.

於是，法老急忙把摩西和亞倫召了來，說：“我得罪了耶和華你們的神，也得罪了你們。

於是以色列的眾領袖和君王，都謙卑下來，說：“耶和華是公義的。”

但耶和華是公義的，他砍斷了惡人的繩索。”

耶和華是公義的，他這樣待我，是因為我違背了他的命令。萬民哪！請你們聽我的話！看看我的痛苦！我的少女和青年人都已經被擄去了。

耶和華在他一切所行的事上，都是公義的，他對他一切所造的，都存著慈愛的心。

所以耶和華留意使這災禍臨到我們身上，因為耶和華我們的神在他所行的一切事上都是公義的，我們卻沒有聽從他的話。

掃羅說：“我犯了罪了，但是求你在我人民的長老面前和以色列人面前給我面子，與我一同回去，我好敬拜耶和華你的神。”

於是掃羅對撒母耳說：“我犯了罪了，我違背了耶和華的命令和你的話，因為我害怕眾人，聽從了他們的話。

然而我們曉得，凡律法所說的，都是對在律法之下的人說的，好讓每一個人都沒有話可講，使全世界的人都伏在神的審判之下。

掃羅說：“我有罪了，我兒大衛啊，你回來吧！因為今天你看我的命為寶貴，我必不再害你。看哪！我作了糊塗事了，並且錯得很厲害。”

“我有罪了！我出賣了無辜的人﹙“人”原文作“血”。﹚！”他們說：“這是你的事，跟我們有甚麼關係？”

耶和華已經把自己顯明，又施行了審判；惡人被自己手所作的纏住了。（希迦庸、細拉）

巴蘭對耶和華的使者說：“我有罪了，我不知道是你站在路上阻擋我；現在你若是不喜歡我去，我就回去。”

可是你一直硬著心腸，不肯悔改，為自己積蓄神的忿怒，就是他彰顯公義審判的那天所要發的忿怒。
