As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?

你还向我的百姓自高，不容他们去吗？

可是你仍然向我的百姓自高自大，不放他们走。

爾猶自高、禁阻我民、不釋之往乎、

爾如剛暴、禁阻我民、

爾仍強拘我民、不釋之去、

You still set yourself against my people and will not let them go.

But you are still against my people. You will not let them go.

You are still exalting yourself against my people and will not let them go.

But you still lord it over my people and refuse to let them go.

You are still acting arrogantly against my people by not letting them go.

Still you exalt yourself against My people by not letting them go.

As yet you exalt yourself against My people in that you will not let them go.

because you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.

Jehovah, thy hand is lifted up, yet they see not: but they shall see thy zeal for the people, and be put to shame; yea, fire shall devour thine adversaries.

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Because he hath stretched out his hand against God, And behaveth himself proudly against the Almighty;He runneth upon him with a stiff neck, With the thick bosses of his bucklers;

Because of thy raging against me, and because thine arrogancy is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.By thy servants hast thou defied the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir- trees thereof; and I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field;

Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? shall the saw magnify itself against him that wieldeth it? as if a rod should wield them that lift it up, or as if a staff should lift up him that is not wood.

And immediately an angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
