but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth,

其实，我叫你存立，是特要向你显我的大能，并要使我的名传遍天下。

然而，我让你存活，是为了要使你看见我的大能，并要使我的名传遍全地。

我让你活到现在，是为了向你彰显我的权能，使我的名传遍天下。

然而我使你存留，是为了使你看见我的能力，并且在全地上传讲我的名。

然我使爾崛興、以顯我能、我名播揚於天下。

然我使爾立、欲顯我之大能以示爾、使我名傳於天下、或作但因我欲顯我之大能以示爾使我名傳於天下故至今我使爾立

But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

But I had a special reason for making you king. I decided to show you my power. I wanted my name to become known everywhere on earth.

But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.

But I have spared you for a purpose— to show you my power and to spread my fame throughout the earth.

However, I have let you live for this purpose: to show you my power and to make my name known on the whole earth.

But indeed, for this reason I have allowed you to remain, in order to show you My power and in order to proclaim My name throughout the earth.

But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.

but in very deed for this cause have I made thee to stand, to show thee my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

However, I have let you live for this purpose: to show you My power and to make My name known in all the earth.

And in very deed for this[ cause] have I raised thee up, for to shew[ in] thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

But for this purpose I have caused you to stand: to show you my strength, and so that my name may be declared in all the earth.

For the Scripture says to Pharaoh,“ For this very purpose I caused you to be raised up, that I might show in you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.

Yahweh has made everything for its own end— yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.

All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.

Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.

to him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; for his loving kindness endures forever;and brought out Israel from among them; for his loving kindness endures forever;with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for his loving kindness endures forever:to him who divided the Red Sea apart; for his loving kindness endures forever;and made Israel to pass through the middle of it; for his loving kindness endures forever;but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for his loving kindness endures forever:

Now I know that Yahweh is greater than all gods because of the way that they treated people arrogantly.”

and,“ a stumbling stone and a rock of offense.” For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.

Behold, I myself will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they will go in after them. I will get myself honor over Pharaoh, and over all his armies, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.

Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.“ You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people you have purchased pass over.

For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.

For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God.

Woe to us! Who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty gods? These are the gods that struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues in the wilderness.

Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn’t stumble?As the livestock that go down into the valley, Yahweh’s Spirit caused them to rest. So you led your people to make yourself a glorious name.

What if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,

I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will follow after them; and I will get honor over Pharaoh, and over all his armies; and the Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh.” They did so.

For we have heard how Yahweh dried up the water of the Red Sea before you, when you came out of Egypt; and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and to Og, whom you utterly destroyed.As soon as we had heard it, our hearts melted, and there wasn’t any more spirit in any man, because of you: for Yahweh your God, he is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath.

“ But the deceiver is cursed, who has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices to the Lord a defective thing; for I am a great King,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ and my name is awesome among the nations.”

For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering: for my name is great among the nations,” says Yahweh of Armies.
