法老說：“明天。”摩西回答：“就照著你的話行吧，好叫你知道沒有神像耶和華我們的神。

“但是，如果你不聽從耶和華你神的話，不謹守遵行我今日吩咐你的一切誡命和律例，以下這一切咒詛就必臨到你身上，把你趕上。你在城裡必受咒詛，在田間也必受咒詛。你的籃子和摶麵盆都必受咒詛。

經過這些以後，如果你們還不聽從我，我就要因你們的罪加重七倍管教你們。

因此我擊打你，使你生病（“我擊打你，使你生病”或參照《七十士譯本》和其他古譯本作“我開始擊打你”），因你的罪惡，使你荒涼。

我們有禍了！從前在曠野用各樣災禍擊打埃及人的，就是這些神。誰能救我們脫離這些大能之神的手呢？

主耶和華啊，因此，你是偉大的！按照我們耳朵所聽見的，沒有像你的，除了你以外，再沒有別的神。

現在你們要知道，只有我是那一位，除我以外，並沒有別的神；我使人死，也使人活；我打傷，我也醫治；沒有人可以從我的手裡搶救出去。我向天舉手說：我活到永永遠遠；如果我磨亮了我的刀劍，如果我掌握了審判權，就必向我的仇敵伸冤，必向恨我的人報應。我要使我的箭飲血飲醉，就是被殺的人和被擄的人的血；我的刀劍要吃肉，就是吃仇敵長髮首領的肉。’

“如果你們行事為人與我的心意相違，不肯聽從我，我就要按著你們的罪，使災禍加重七倍地臨到你們。

我就必發烈怒，與你們作對；我要按著你們的罪，再加重七倍管教你們。

耶和華就必使你和你的後裔遭受奇災，就是大而長久的災，毒而長久的病。他必使你懼怕的埃及人的各種疾病都臨到你身上，緊緊地纏著你。又把這律法書上沒有記載的各樣災病，都降在你身上，直到你被消滅。

你們當記念上古以前的事，因為我是神，再沒有別的神；我是神，沒有神像我。

我警告所有聽見這書上預言的人：如果有人在這些預言上加添甚麼，神必把寫在這書上的災難加在他身上。

因此，在一日之內她的災難必然來到，就是死亡、悲哀和饑荒；她還要在火中被燒掉，因為審判她的主神是大有能力的。

耶和華啊，照著我們耳中所聽見的，沒有誰能與你相比；除你以外，再沒有別的神。

主啊！在眾神之中，沒有能和你相比的，你的作為也是無可比擬的。

耶和華啊！沒有可以跟你相比的；你是偉大的，你的名大有能力。

耶和華必不肯饒恕他；耶和華的怒氣和憤恨必向這人發作，這書上所寫的一切咒詛都要降在那人身上，耶和華也必從天下塗抹他的名。耶和華必照著寫在這律法書上的約的一切咒詛，把他從以色列眾支派中分別出來，使他遭受災禍。“後代的人，就是你們以後興起來的子孫，和從遠方來的外族人，看見了這地的災難和耶和華降與這地的疾病，

你的子民以色列，或是眾人，或是個人，知道自己心裡的苦痛，向這殿伸開雙手所作的一切禱告、一切懇求，

我要使這城變為荒涼，成為被人嗤笑的對象；每一個經過這裡的，都必因這城所遭受的一切創傷而驚駭，並且嗤笑她。
