“但是，如果你不听从耶和华你神的话，不谨守遵行我今日吩咐你的一切诫命和律例，以下这一切咒诅就必临到你身上，把你赶上。你在城里必受咒诅，在田间也必受咒诅。你的篮子和抟面盆都必受咒诅。

经过这些以后，如果你们还不听从我，我就要因你们的罪加重七倍管教你们。

因此我击打你，使你生病（“我击打你，使你生病”或参照《七十士译本》和其他古译本作“我开始击打你”），因你的罪恶，使你荒凉。

我们有祸了！从前在旷野用各样灾祸击打埃及人的，就是这些神。谁能救我们脱离这些大能之神的手呢？

主耶和华啊，因此，你是伟大的！按照我们耳朵所听见的，没有像你的，除了你以外，再没有别的神。

现在你们要知道，只有我是那一位，除我以外，并没有别的神；我使人死，也使人活；我打伤，我也医治；没有人可以从我的手里抢救出去。我向天举手说：我活到永永远远；如果我磨亮了我的刀剑，如果我掌握了审判权，就必向我的仇敌伸冤，必向恨我的人报应。我要使我的箭饮血饮醉，就是被杀的人和被掳的人的血；我的刀剑要吃肉，就是吃仇敌长发首领的肉。’

“如果你们行事为人与我的心意相违，不肯听从我，我就要按着你们的罪，使灾祸加重七倍地临到你们。

我就必发烈怒，与你们作对；我要按着你们的罪，再加重七倍管教你们。

耶和华就必使你和你的后裔遭受奇灾，就是大而长久的灾，毒而长久的病。他必使你惧怕的埃及人的各种疾病都临到你身上，紧紧地缠着你。又把这律法书上没有记载的各样灾病，都降在你身上，直到你被消灭。

你们当记念上古以前的事，因为我是神，再没有别的神；我是神，没有神像我。

我警告所有听见这书上预言的人：如果有人在这些预言上加添什么，神必把写在这书上的灾难加在他身上。

因此，在一日之内她的灾难必然来到，就是死亡、悲哀和饥荒；她还要在火中被烧掉，因为审判她的主神是大有能力的。

耶和华啊，照着我们耳中所听见的，没有谁能与你相比；除你以外，再没有别的神。

主啊！在众神之中，没有能和你相比的，你的作为也是无可比拟的。

耶和华啊！没有可以跟你相比的；你是伟大的，你的名大有能力。

耶和华必不肯饶恕他；耶和华的怒气和愤恨必向这人发作，这书上所写的一切咒诅都要降在那人身上，耶和华也必从天下涂抹他的名。耶和华必照着写在这律法书上的约的一切咒诅，把他从以色列众支派中分别出来，使他遭受灾祸。“后代的人，就是你们以后兴起来的子孙，和从远方来的外族人，看见了这地的灾难和耶和华降与这地的疾病，

你的子民以色列，或是众人，或是个人，知道自己心里的苦痛，向这殿伸开双手所作的一切祷告、一切恳求，

我要使这城变为荒凉，成为被人嗤笑的对象；每一个经过这里的，都必因这城所遭受的一切创伤而惊骇，并且嗤笑她。
