Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Pray to the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.”

Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron. He said to them,“ Pray to the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people. Then I’ll let your people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron and said,“ Plead with the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people, and I will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and begged,“ Plead with the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people. I will let your people go, so they can offer sacrifices to the Lord.”

Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Appeal to the LORD to remove the frogs from me and my people. Then I will let the people go and they can sacrifice to the LORD.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said,“ Plead with the Lord to remove the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, so that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said,“ Entreat the Lord that He may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat Jehovah, that he take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice unto Jehovah.

Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Ask Yahweh to remove the frogs from me and my people. Then I will let the people go and they can sacrifice to Yahweh.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Pray to the LORD that he may take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will release the people that they may sacrifice to the LORD.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said,“ Entreat Yahweh, that he take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to Yahweh.”

Now forgive my sin once more and pray to the Lord your God to take this deadly plague away from me.” (niv)

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land.”But Moses said,“ That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the Lord our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?We must take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, as he commands us.”Pharaoh said,“ I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the Lord your God in the wilderness, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me.” (niv)

Pray to the Lord, for we have had enough thunder and hail. I will let you go; you don’t have to stay any longer.” (niv)

The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. (niv)

During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship the Lord as you have requested.Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me.” (niv)

Then the king said to the man of God,“ Intercede with the Lord your God and pray for me that my hand may be restored.” So the man of God interceded with the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored and became as it was before. (niv)

Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh.“ Go, worship the Lord your God,” he said.“ But tell me who will be going.”Moses answered,“ We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival to the Lord.”Pharaoh said,“ The Lord be with you— if I let you go, along with your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil.No! Have only the men go and worship the Lord, since that’s what you have been asking for.” Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh’s presence. (niv)

Then Simon answered,“ Pray to the Lord for me so that nothing you have said may happen to me.” (niv)

Say to God,“ How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. (niv)

Pharaoh said,“ Who is the Lord, that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord and I will not let Israel go.” (niv)

Whenever God slew them, they would seek him; they eagerly turned to him again.They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.But then they would flatter him with their mouths, lying to him with their tongues; (niv)

The people all said to Samuel,“ Pray to the Lord your God for your servants so that we will not die, for we have added to all our other sins the evil of asking for a king.” (niv)

The word came to Jeremiah from the Lord after King Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to proclaim freedom for the slaves.Everyone was to free their Hebrew slaves, both male and female; no one was to hold a fellow Hebrew in bondage.So all the officials and people who entered into this covenant agreed that they would free their male and female slaves and no longer hold them in bondage. They agreed, and set them free.But afterward they changed their minds and took back the slaves they had freed and enslaved them again.Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. I said,‘ Every seventh year each of you must free any fellow Hebrews who have sold themselves to you. After they have served you six years, you must let them go free.’ Your ancestors, however, did not listen to me or pay attention to me.Recently you repented and did what is right in my sight: Each of you proclaimed freedom to your own people. You even made a covenant before me in the house that bears my Name.But now you have turned around and profaned my name; each of you has taken back the male and female slaves you had set free to go where they wished. You have forced them to become your slaves again. (niv)

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said,“ Go, worship the Lord. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind.”But Moses said,“ You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the Lord our God.Our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshiping the Lord our God, and until we get there we will not know what we are to use to worship the Lord.”But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to let them go. (niv)

When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said,“ What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!” (niv)
