早上法老心中不安，就派人召来埃及所有的术士和博学之士，把梦告诉他们，可是没有一个人能为他解梦。

埃及王啊，你的智者在哪里呢？让他们把万军之耶和华对付埃及的计划告诉你吧！

耶稣回答说：“我看见撒旦像闪电一样从天上坠下。

占星家说：“王所要求的，世上无人能做到，因为再伟大、再有权势的君王也没问过术士、巫师或占星家这样的事。王问的事太难，除了不在人间居住的神明外，无人能为王解答。”

“你自幼就勤练符咒和五花八门的邪术，继续施展吧！也许会有用处，也许会令人害怕。众多的计谋使你疲惫不堪，让那些观天象、每月说预言的占星家来救你脱离将临的灾祸吧！

术士、巫师、占星家和占卜者都来了，我将梦告诉他们，他们却不能给我解梦。

现在这些人敌对真理，就像从前雅尼和佯庇反对摩西一样，他们的心思坏透了，他们的信仰是虚假的。不过，他们猖狂不了多久，因为他们的愚昧行径必暴露在众人面前，就像雅尼和佯庇的下场一样。
