巫師們對法老說：「這是上帝的作為。」法老的心卻仍然剛硬，不肯答應摩西和亞倫的要求，正如耶和華所言。

告訴她，主耶和華這樣說，『西頓啊，我要與你為敵，我要在你身上得到榮耀。我要審判你，彰顯我的聖潔，人們就知道我是耶和華。

耶和華彰顯了自己的公義，使惡人自食其果。（細拉）
