So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded. And he lifted up the staff and struck the water that was in the Nile in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants; and all the water that was in the Nile was turned into blood.

Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded. He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood.

Moses and Aaron did exactly as the Lord had commanded them. Aaron held out his staff in front of Pharaoh and his officials. He struck the water of the Nile River. And all the water turned into blood.

Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded. In the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants he lifted up the staff and struck the water in the Nile, and all the water in the Nile turned into blood.

So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them. As Pharaoh and all of his officials watched, Aaron raised his staff and struck the water of the Nile. Suddenly, the whole river turned to blood!

Tomorrow I will station myself on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.”Joshua did just as Moses told him, and fought against Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.So it came about, when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed; but when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed.And Moses’ hands were heavy. So they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. So his hands were steady until the sun set.

Now when the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from( but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter* called the groom,and* said to him,“ Every man serves the good wine first, and when the guests are drunk, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.”This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

“ Take the staff; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it shall yield its water. So you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and have the congregation and their livestock drink.”So Moses took the staff from before the Lord, just as He had commanded him;and Moses and Aaron summoned the assembly in front of the rock. And he said to them,“ Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring water for you out of this rock?”Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank.But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,“ Since you did not trust in Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, for that reason you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood,

This is what the Lord says:“ By this you shall know that I am the Lord: behold, I am going to strike the water that is in the Nile with the staff that is in my hand, and it will be turned into blood.Then the fish that are in the Nile will die, the Nile will stink, and the Egyptians will no longer be able to drink water from the Nile.” ’ ”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Pass before the people and take with you some of the elders of Israel; and take in your hand your staff with which you struck the Nile, and go.Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, so that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
