And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now[ are] many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

又说：“看哪，这地的以色列人如今众多，你们竟叫他们歇下担子！”

他又说：“看哪，这地的以色列人如今这么多，你们竟然叫他们歇下劳役！”

他又说：“看哪，这地的以色列人如今这么多，你们竟然叫他们歇下劳役！”

法老又说：“这地方的以色列人如此众多，你竟叫他们停止工作！”

法老又说：“你看，现在这地的民很多，你们竟叫他们歇下担子？”

又說：「看哪，這地的以色列人如今眾多，你們竟叫他們歇下擔子！」

他又說：「看哪，這地的以色列人如今這麼多，你們竟然叫他們歇下勞役！」

他又說：「看哪，這地的以色列人如今這麼多，你們竟然叫他們歇下勞役！」

法老又說：「這地方的以色列人如此眾多，你竟叫他們停止工作！」

法老又說：“你看，現在這地的民很多，你們竟叫他們歇下擔子？”

法老說：『看哪，這地的人民如今很多，你們竟叫他們歇下擔子。』

又曰、斯民眾多、爾乃弛其負擔、

又曰、此族眾多、爾使之不負戴曷故。○

法老又曰、斯民眾多、爾竟欲使之不服役乎、

Then Pharaoh said,“ Look, the people of the land are now numerous, and you are stopping them from working.”

Pharaoh continued,“ There are large numbers of your people in the land. But you are stopping them from working.”

And Pharaoh said,“ Behold, the people of the land are now many, and you make them rest from their burdens!”

Look, there are many of your people in the land, and you are stopping them from their work.”

Pharaoh also said,“ Look, the people of the land are so numerous, and you would stop them from their labor.”

Again Pharaoh said,“ Look, the people of the land are now many, and you would have them cease from their labors!”

And Pharaoh said,“ Look, the people of the land are many now, and you make them rest from their labor!”

And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land are now many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

Pharaoh also said,“ Look, the people of the land are so numerous, and you would stop them from working.”

Pharaoh was thinking,“ The people of the land are now many, and you are giving them rest from their labor.”

Pharaoh said,“ Behold, the people of the land are now many, and you make them rest from their burdens.”

In the multitude of people[ is] the king’s honour: but in the want of people[ is] the destruction of the prince.

And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel[ are] more and mightier than we:Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and[ so] get them up out of the land.Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.
