便埋怨二人說：「願耶和華鑒察、懲罰你們！你們使我們在法老和他的臣僕面前有了臭名，使他們有藉口來殺我們。」

就向他们说：“愿耶和华鉴察你们，施行判断；因你们使我们在法老和他臣仆面前有了臭名，把刀递在他们手中杀我们。”

就向他们说：“愿耶和华鉴察你们，施行判断，因为你们使我们在法老和他臣仆面前有了臭名，把刀递在他们手中来杀我们。”

就对他们说：“愿耶和华鉴察你们，审判你们，因为你们使我们的香气在法老眼前和他的臣仆眼前都发臭了，把刀放在他们的手里来杀我们。”

就向他們說：「願耶和華鑒察你們，施行判斷；因你們使我們在法老和他臣僕面前有了臭名，把刀遞在他們手中殺我們。」

就對他們說：『願永恆主鑒察你們，審判你們，因為你們使我們的香氣在法老和他臣僕面前都發臭了，你們把刀遞在他們手中來殺我們。』

謂之曰、爾使我見惡於法老及羣臣、如惡惡臭、授刃其手以殺我、願耶和華鑒察辨白、○

爾使法老及群臣、無不惡我授刃殺我、願耶和華鑒察、而伸我冤。○

告之曰、爾使我見惡於法老及其群臣之前、以刃授其手殺我、願主鑒察而伸我冤、

and they said,“ May the Lord look on you and judge you! You have made us obnoxious to Pharaoh and his officials and have put a sword in their hand to kill us.”

They said to Moses and Aaron,“ We want the Lord to look at what you have done! We want him to judge you for it! We are like a very bad smell to Pharaoh and his officials. You have given them an excuse to kill us with their swords.”

and they said to them,“ The Lord look on you and judge, because you have made us stink in the sight of Pharaoh and his servants, and have put a sword in their hand to kill us.”

The foremen said to them,“ May the Lord judge and punish you for making us stink before Pharaoh and his officials. You have put a sword into their hands, an excuse to kill us!”

“ May the LORD take note of you and judge,” they said to them,“ because you have made us reek to Pharaoh and his officials— putting a sword in their hand to kill us!”

And they said to them,“ May the Lord look upon you and judge you, because you have made us repulsive in Pharaoh’s sight and in the sight of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us!”

And they said to them,“ Let the Lord look on you and judge, because you have made us abhorrent in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us.”

and they said unto them, Jehovah look upon you, and judge: because ye have made our savor to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

“ May the Lord take note of you and judge,” they said to them,“ because you have made us reek in front of Pharaoh and his officials— putting a sword in their hand to kill us!”

And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

They said to them,“ May Yahweh look at you and judge, because you have made us a stench to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us!”

雅各責備西緬和利未說：「你們為什麼要給我惹麻煩，使我在當地的迦南人和比利洗人中留下臭名呢？我們人數很少，要是他們聯手來攻擊我們，我們全家必遭滅門之禍。」

哈嫩及其他亞捫人知道得罪了大衛，就派人用三十四噸銀子從美索不達米亞、亞蘭瑪迦和瑣巴招兵買馬，

以色列眾人聽說掃羅攻打非利士人的駐軍，並聽說非利士人對以色列人恨之入骨，便回應掃羅的號召，聚集在吉甲。

亞吉相信了大衛的話，心裡想：「以色列人恨透了大衛，他必永遠留在迦特做我的僕人。」

亞捫人知道得罪了大衛，便派人到伯·利合和瑣巴招募了兩萬名亞蘭步兵、瑪迦王的一千人和一萬二千名陀伯人。

摩西把這番話轉告百姓，可是他們因為殘酷的勞役無比沮喪，不肯聽他的話。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「我受氣都是因為你。我把婢女放在你懷裡，她仗著自己懷了孕就輕視我，願耶和華在你我之間主持公道。」

他們對摩西說：「難道埃及沒有墳地，要你帶我們出來死在曠野嗎？為什麼要帶我們離開埃及呢？

我要趕出從北方來的軍隊，把他們驅逐到一個乾旱荒蕪的地方，把他們的領頭部隊趕進死海，再把他們的殿後部隊趕進地中海，那時他們必臭氣沖天、腥味騰空，因為耶和華為你們行了大事。」

死蒼蠅會使芬芳的膏油發臭，同樣，一點點愚昧足以毀掉智慧和尊榮。

百姓相信了。以色列人聽見耶和華眷顧他們、看到了他們的苦難，都俯伏敬拜祂。

不論是在得救的人當中還是在滅亡的人當中，對上帝來說，我們都是基督的馨香之氣。對滅亡的人而言，這香氣是叫人死亡的香氣；對得救的人來說，這香氣卻是叫人得生命的香氣。誰能擔當這樣的重任呢？
