Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the covenant law and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

Place the gold altar for burning incense in front of the ark where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. Put up the curtain at the entrance to the holy tent.

And you shall put the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen for the door of the tabernacle.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,and since we have a great priest over the house of God,let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. “ For the entrance to the tent make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen— the work of an embroiderer.Make gold hooks for this curtain and five posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold. And cast five bronze bases for them. (niv)

They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide and two cubits high— its horns of one piece with it.They overlaid the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and made a gold molding around it.They made two gold rings below the molding— two on each of the opposite sides— to hold the poles used to carry it.They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun— blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen.And all the women who were willing and had the skill spun the goat hair.The leaders brought onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.They also brought spices and olive oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense. My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (niv)
